The successful candidate will serve as a strategic licensing advisor to IT, procurement, finance, and leadership stakeholders.Key ResponsibilitiesOracle License Governance &amp; Compliance<ul><li>Establish and maintain an accurate Oracle licensing baseline across all relevant environments.</li><li>Conduct entitlement vs. deployment reconciliations for Oracle Database, Middleware, and related products.</li><li>Interpret Oracle Master Agreements, ordering documents, support agreements, and ULAs.</li><li>Identify compliance gaps, quantify exposure, and develop structured remediation plans.</li><li>Implement governance processes to ensure ongoing compliance and risk mitigation.</li></ul>ULA Strategy &amp; Advisory<ul><li>Monitor and track ULA deployments in preparation for certification.</li><li>Advise on ULA optimization strategies, including expansion, modification, renewal, or exit scenarios.</li><li>Provide forward-looking recommendations on restructuring agreements based on usage trends and enterprise growth.</li></ul>Optimization &amp; Cost Control<ul><li>Identify underutilized, redundant, or misallocated licenses.</li><li>Recommend consolidation, re-harvesting, or architectural adjustments to reduce licensing exposure.</li><li>Support budgeting and renewal planning with accurate forecasting and cost-avoidance analysis.</li></ul>Reporting &amp; Stakeholder Advisory<ul><li>Deliver executive-level compliance, risk, and optimization reports.</li><li>Advise IT leadership on licensing implications of infrastructure changes (e.g., virtualization, cloud migration, DR environments).</li><li>Act as subject matter expert for Oracle licensing queries across the organization.</li></ul>Required Experience<ul><li>5+ years of hands-on experience in Oracle licensing, compliance, or enterprise SAM roles.</li><li>Demonstrated experience managing and advising on Oracle ULAs (certification, renewal, modification, or exit).</li><li>Strong knowledge of:</li><li>Oracle Database (EE, SE2, Options, Management Packs)</li><li>Oracle Middleware licensing</li><li>Processor &amp; Named User Plus metrics</li><li>Core factor calculations</li><li>Oracle partitioning and virtualization policies (e.g., VMware impact)</li><li>Preferred hands-on experience with enterprise SAM tools (e.g., Flexera, Snow, ServiceNow SAM Pro, Oracle LMS scripts, or equivalent).</li><li>Experience conducting large-scale license reconciliations in complex IT estates.</li></ul>Job Type: Full-time
