 Position SummaryThe Retail Representative (Food &amp; Beverage) plays a vital role in creating a welcoming and enjoyable guest experience aboard the M/V Ptarmigan. This position is responsible for serving packaged snacks, beverages, and alcoholic drinks; processing retail and ticket transactions; and maintaining a clean, organized, and guest-ready counter area throughout daily sailings.

 Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesServe packaged snacks, beverages, and alcoholic drinks in compliance with all food safety and alcohol service regulations.
 
 
 Accurately process retail, beverage, and ticket transactions using the point-of-sale system.
 
 
 Greet guests warmly and provide friendly, efficient, and professional customer service throughout the cruise.
 
 
 Stock, rotate, and display retail merchandise and beverages to ensure proper presentation and inventory management.
 
 
 Work in coordination with deckhands to maintain a clean, organized vessel between sailings, including the retail counter, seating areas, and trash removal.
 
 
 Follow established point-of-sale, cash handling, and inventory control procedures.
