 Follow all company and safety and security policies and procedures; report any maintenance problems, safety hazards, accidents, or injuries; complete safety training and certifications; and properly store flammable materials. Ensure uniform and personal appearance are clean and professional, maintain confidentiality of proprietary information, and protect company assets. Welcome and acknowledge all guests according to company standards, anticipate and address guests&rsquo; service needs, assist individuals with disabilities, and thank guests with genuine appreciation. Adhere to quality expectations and standards. Develop and maintain positive working relationships with others, support team to reach common goals, and listen and respond appropriately to the concerns of other employees. The role ensures smooth and safe operations, preventing downtime and maintaining the high standards expected by guests and the organization.Key Responsibilities<ul><li>Perform routine maintenance, inspections, and repairs of hotel facilities, equipment, and systems, including electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and mechanical systems.</li><li>Respond promptly to maintenance requests from guests, staff, and management.</li><li>Troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve technical issues efficiently to minimize disruption.</li><li>Assist in installation, testing, and commissioning of new equipment or systems as required.</li><li>Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, work orders, and equipment status.</li><li>Ensure compliance with health, safety, and regulatory standards while performing all duties.</li><li>Support preventative maintenance schedules to extend the life of equipment and prevent breakdowns.</li><li>Collaborate with other technical and operational teams to ensure seamless service delivery.</li><li>Maintain an organized, safe, and professional work environment.</li></ul>Requirements<ul><li>Proven experience as a General Technician or in a similar technical/maintenance role, preferably within luxury hospitality.</li><li>Strong knowledge of electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and general mechanical systems.</li><li>Ability to troubleshoot and repair technical issues efficiently.</li><li>Knowledge of health, safety, and regulatory standards.</li><li>Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail.</li><li>Ability to work independently and as part of a team.</li><li>Physically capable of performing maintenance tasks and handling tools and equipment safely.</li><li>Flexibility to work varying shifts, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays.</li></ul>Job Type: Full-timeExperience:<ul><li>General Technician in a Luxury Hotel: 3 years (Preferred)</li></ul>Location:<ul><li>Doha (Required)</li></ul>
