What You&rsquo;ll Do:</p><p>
You will drive a lorry from our exceptional fleet of Volvo vehicles, all less than 4 years old. They&rsquo;re a joy to drive, and are equipped to a high specification, including fridges, leather seats and many more optional extras to make sure you&rsquo;re comfortable.</p><p>
Most of our sites run from Monday to Friday, with 45 hour working weeks, and 9-hour shifts per day which typically start at 7/8am. Our well-organised shift schedules mean you often know in advance where you&rsquo;ll be driving, taking the stress out of your day.</p><p>
Key Role Responsibilities</p><p>
We don&rsquo;t micromanage our drivers. We trust them to get the job done and plan their own routes. The average number of stops in a shift is 4 to 6, so there&rsquo;s plenty of time to enjoy being out on the open road - but you&rsquo;ll still be home again at the end of every 9-hour shift.</p><p>
You&rsquo;ll make sure Cages, Pallets, Freight, Stillages and Yorks get to and from customers bang on time. At some sites, the goods will be loaded or unloaded for you - at others, you&rsquo;ll need to do it yourself. Scanning consignments and driving pallet trucks will sometimes be part of your day.</p><p>
