Tactical Generator and Environmental Control Unit/HVAC FSR</p><p>

Meaningful work and impact:</p><p></p><p>
The Tactical Generator &amp; Environmental Control Unit/HVAC Field Service Representative will:</p><p></p><ul><li>
Perform Technical Inspections (TIs), verification inspections, preventive maintenance/repairs on various power generation equipment, tactical utility, precise power-generation sets, internal combustion engines, and associated equipment to include tactical wheeled vehicles.</li><li>
Maintains and provides for bench stock, petroleum, oil and lubricant (POL), automated maintenance and mobility products, Test, Measurement, &amp; Diagnostic Equipment (TMDE), hazardous waste, contaminated waste control, and safety procedures. Maintains historical and training records and performs administrative duties for technical orders (TO) and files.</li><li>
Generates configuration documentation (e.g. diagrams and electrical load requirements) for deployed powered ground support and HVAC configurations.</li><li>
 Plans and fabricates electrical power distribution equipment including circuit protection and sizing, power and lightning grounding schemes, cables and connectors to interface with military and commercial power systems and sub-systems.</li><li>
Maintain accountability of tools, accountability and control.</li><li>
Troubleshoot, rebuild or repair starters, alternators, generators, fuel injectors, voltage regulators, switches, control circuits, etc.</li><li>
Inspect and repair, portable heater, fuel and electrical systems.</li><li>
Use different welding techniques and skills to repair equipment.</li><li>
Applies advanced technical knowledge to solve unusually complex problems that typically cannot be solved solely by referencing manufacturers manuals or similar documents.</li><li>
 Uses complex electronic test instruments, computer based diagnostic equipment and load banks.</li><li>
Perform tasks with little or no supervision.</li><li>
Performs other duties assigned by the Supervisor or Lead.</li></ul><p></p><p>
What you&rsquo;ll need to be successful:</p><br>
<ul><li>
Demonstrated experience with generator and power plant operations, electrical generation and distribution, diesel generator operation, disassembly, inspection, maintenance and repair, principles of electrical and electronic circuitry.</li><li>
Ability to repair tactical and commercial Environmental Control Units (ECUs).</li><li>
Ability to read electric schematic drawings and interpret its symbols that represent real-world objects.</li><li>
Ability to analyze and interpret US Army and/or Commercial Technical Manuals with relation to equipment maintenance, troubleshooting and repair.</li><li>
Ability to verify serviceability of equipment, determine the economic reparability of the item and determine the extent of maintenance effort and repair parts required to restore the item to the prescribed serviceable condition.</li><li>
Able to lift on an occasional basis a maximum of 70 pounds with frequent or constant lifting of 40 pounds.</li><li>
Able to climb in and out of military/civilian vehicles and related equipment.</li><li>
Able to work in all types of weather conditions to include intense heat, heavy wind, blowing sand, heavy rain, and snow and sleet.</li><li>
Must have a valid Driver License</li><li>
AA or equivalent + 3 yrs related experience</li><li>
EPA Certification or able to certify within six months of employment.</li><li>

Salary and Benefit Information</p><div>
The likely salary range for this position is $72,877 - $98,599. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range. Total compensation for international positions varies by tax, social security, and immigration statuses, as well as location. Generally, an international assignment may include allowances, premium uplifts, and/or relocation or transportation benefits, above base salary range noted.<br>
