Our seasonal Lead Lawn Care Technician works from 8:00 am - 5:00 pm, Monday - Friday with overtime available.

Operations
<ul><li>Under the supervision by the pharmacist, assist in the practice of pharmacy, in accordance with state, federal, and company policy. Reviews and complies with the Walgreen Co. Pharmacy Code of Conduct.</li>
<li>Performs duties as assigned by Pharmacy Manager, Staff Pharmacist and Store Manager including utilizing pharmacy systems to enter patient and drug information, ensuring information is entered correctly, filling prescriptions by retrieving, counting and pouring pharmaceutical drugs, verifying medicine is correct, and checking for possible interactions. Assists pharmacists in scheduling and maintaining work flow.</li>
<li>Reports, immediately, prescription errors to pharmacist on duty and adheres to Company policies and procedures in relation to pharmacy errors and the Quality Improvement Program.</li>
<li>Strictly adheres to the Walgreen Co. policy regarding Good Faith Dispensing during all applicable prescription dispensing activities.</li>
<li>Responsible and accountable for registering all related sales on assigned cash register, collects and handles cash as required. Takes customer to OTC aisle when possible to assist in locating products.</li>
<li>Handles telephone calls that do not require personal attention of the pharmacist, including those to physicians.</li>
<li>Processes (corrects and resubmits) manual claims for third party program prescription services in a timely and efficient manner, and performs other clerical duties, as assigned by the Pharmacy Manager.</li>
<li>Assists and supports Pharmacy Department on inventory management activities, such as, ordering, unpacking, checking and storing shipment of pharmaceuticals. Maintains knowledge of Company asset protection techniques, and files claims for warehouse overages (merchandise received, but not billed), shortages (merchandise billed, but not received), order errors or damaged goods involving Rx drugs.</li>
<li>May assist pharmacist in administering clinical services including the collection and proper labeling of blood/urine samples from patients and other clinical services as required; assists pharmacy staff in coordination of clinical services, Walgreens healthcare clinics and external providers.</li>
<li>Assists Pharmacy Manager and Staff Pharmacist in developing and maintaining good relationships with the local medical community, including physicians, nurses, and other health care providers, by medical provider detailing and outreach to health groups, retirement homes, nursing homes, and other forums for enhancing growth opportunities.</li>
<li>Assists with exterior and interior maintenance by ensuring the Pharmacy Department is stocked with adequate supplies, clean, neat and orderly in condition and appearance.</li>
<li>Complies with all company policies and procedures; maintains respectful relationships with coworkers.</li>
<li>Completes special assignments and other tasks as assigned.</li>
</ul> 
Training &amp; Personal Development
<ul><li>Earns and maintains PTCB certification through the designated PTCB training program and/or state required certification/registration. Otherwise, earns PTCB certification as condition of promotion to senior technician.</li>
<li>Attends training requested by Manager and acquires continuing education credits. Maintains knowledge and skill in healthcare and pharmacy, including latest news and developments.</li>

Basic Qualifications
 
<ul><li>Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English. (Except in Puerto Rico)</li>
<li>Requires willingness to work flexible schedule, including evening and weekend hours.</li> 
</ul> 
 
Preferred Qualifications
 
<ul><li>Prefer six months of experience in a retail environment.</li>
<li>Prefer to have prior work experience with Walgreens.</li>
<li>Prefer good math skills so they can fill prescriptions accurately, including counting, measuring and weighing medications.</li>
<li>Prefer good computer skills.</li>
<li>Prefer the knowledge of store inventory control.</li>
<li>Prefer PTCB certification.</li>

The Lead Mechanic sets work standards, supports skills development, and promotes a culture of safety, accountability, and continuous improvement within the maintenance team, working closely with the Service Manager to ensure goals are aligned.Weaver Bros., Inc prides itself on maintaining a high standard of safety and care on our equipment to reduce unexpected issues on the road, and your ability to bring a strong work ethic and the desire to get the job done right the first time will help us continue that standard.Mechanical &amp; Technical Responsibilities:&middot; Diagnose, repair, and maintain diesel engines, powertrains, braking systems, steering, suspension, electrical systems, and HVAC on Class 7&ndash;8 trucks and trailers&middot; Perform complex troubleshooting and advanced repairs that exceed entry- or mid-level mechanic capabilities&middot; Ensure all repairs meet DOT, FMCSA, OEM, and company safety standards&middot; Conduct preventive maintenance inspections (PMs) and ensure accurate documentation&middot; Review repair work for quality, completeness, and safety compliance&middot; Support after-hours or emergency repairs as neededLeadership, Training &amp; Coaching: &middot; Act as technical lead for the shop, providing guidance and direction to mechanics&middot; Assign or assist in prioritizing daily work orders to minimize downtime&middot; Serve as point of escalation for difficult diagnostics or repeat failures&middot; Coordinate with Service Manager on staffing needs, parts usage, and equipment issues&middot; Promote safe work practices and ensure shop rules and procedures are followed&middot; Train and onboard new mechanics, evaluating their skillsets and training needs&middot; Coach junior mechanics on diagnostics, repairs, tool usage and documentation standards&middot; Conduct group training and collaborate with Training Program Specialist to create new training topics&middot; Foster a positive learning environment focused on growth, safety and accountability&middot; May assist in developing standard operating procedures (SOP&rsquo;s) and Job aids&middot; Participate in continuous improvement initiativesKnowledge Skills and Abilities:&middot; Knowledge of state and federal regulations&middot; Strong management skills in leading, planning, organizing, delegating, problem resolution, and operational controls&middot; Communicate clearly and effectively in English with others verbally and in writing&middot; Coach or train employees on safety policies and procedures&middot; Demonstrate highly effective interpersonal skills when working with others and display honesty, loyalty, and integrity in all aspects of the job&middot; Intermediate skill when working with common software programs such as Word, Excel, Outlook, etc&middot; Demonstrate above average skills operating a wide variety of common service garage equipment&middot; Have a thorough understanding of all equipment operation maintenance needs&middot; Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations&middot; Be punctual, dependable and trustworthy and pay attention to minute details&middot; Quickly and accurately add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals&middot; Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.Qualifications and Requirements:Required:&middot; 5-8+ years of prior related work experience in the shop supervisory and/or management area.&middot; 23 years or older &mdash; FMCSR Part 391.11 (b) (1)&middot; Experience or demonstrated ability to mentor or train other mechanics&middot; Read and speak English sufficiently to converse with general public and comprehend DOT and OSHA regulations &mdash; FMCSR Part 391.11 (b) (2)&middot; No serious moving violation (excessive speeding over 15 mph) or DUI in the previous 5 years&middot; Must have complete set of mechanic&rsquo;s tools&middot; Must pass substance abuse screening (as a safety sensitive employee subject to random substance abuse screening under company policy)&middot; Ability to pass a fit for duty test to meet minimum physical demands of the jobCertificates, Licenses, Registration &middot; Valid Alaska Class A CDL with TX endorsement (or ability to obtain)&middot; Valid medical card &mdash; FMCSR Part 391.11 (b) (4)Preferred: &middot; Preference given to those with a four-year degree, ASE, and or CFM CertificationJob Type: Full-timePay: $34.00 - $40.00 per hourBenefits:<ul><li>401(k)</li><li>Dental insurance</li><li>Health insurance</li><li>Paid time off</li><li>Vision insurance</li></ul>Experience:<ul><li>Diesel engine repair: 1 year (Preferred)</li><li>Mechanical knowledge: 1 year (Preferred)</li></ul>Work Location: In person
