To learn more about our work, our attorneys, and our staff please visit our website at www.wkw.comDuties:&middot; Assist attorneys in all stages of litigation, including drafting pleadings, motions, discovery requests/responses, as well as trial preparation.&middot; Manage and organize case files and documents using our document management system, CloudLex.&middot; Gather relevant information to support case preparation.&middot; Prepare and maintain trial notebooks, exhibits, and other trial-related materials.&middot; Coordinate with assigned attorneys, clients, opposing counsel, and court personnel to schedule meetings, depositions, hearings, and trials.&middot; Maintain confidentiality of client information and adhere to ethical standards.Qualifications:&middot; Previous experience as a litigation paralegal needed with a preference to a background in medical malpractice.&middot; Certificate or degree in paralegal studies.&middot; Proficient in using a document management system as well the Court&rsquo;s filing systems of Odyssey and Pacer.&middot; Strong administrative skills with excellent phone etiquette and writing ability.&middot; Attention to detail and strong proofreading skills.&middot; Familiarity with file management and ability to keep cases moving forward so that efficient resolution can occur.&middot; Excellent organizational and time management skills.&middot; Proficient in data entry and computer software applications including Word and Adobe.This position offers a competitive salary based on experience.
