Essential Duties<ul><li>
Coordinates with the Operations Manager the supervision of the Lead Service Reps in the Coordination and scheduling daily delivers activity using technology and logistics skill sets to ensure service &amp; delivery goals are achieved in a designated time frame, safely and efficiently.</li><li>
Communicate information and delivery instructions to the Dispatch/Lead Drivers to include schedules, route changes, road conditions, accidents, emergencies, and other changes to mitigate potential delays to schedules.</li><li>
Dispatch fuel orders in accordance with DOT regulations and in the most cost-efficient way possible.</li><li>
Maintain RTA compliance, GPS data, and OSHA regulations.</li><li>
Impart safety policies/procedures to staff as established by EHS.</li><li>
Plan delivery routes efficiently using Skybitz technology.</li><li>
Engage with Customer Service and Inside Sales to meet delivery requirements for our customers.</li><li>
Schedule the appropriate asset and Service Rep. for specialized deliveries.</li><li>
Work with customers, sales reps, or Mangers to provide issue resolution to our customers.</li><li>
Take inbound customer call-ins to provide ETA&rsquo;s and manage other request.</li><li>
Make outbound customer calls to follow up special delivery requirements.</li><li>
Assist with deliveries when necessary.</li><li>
Make continuous improvement recommendations when appropriate to Management.</li><li>
Attend and participate in safety and all other training provided.</li><li>
Report unsafe or near miss situations, and incidents to EHS and management promptly.</li><li>
Keep open communication with Sales Reps, Inside Sales, and Customers Service to meet expectations.</li><li>
Gauge underground bulk fuel tanks daily and record inventory levels.</li><li>
Coordinate the carding of Service Reps at fuel terminals as needed.</li><li>
Effectively communicate special delivery information to Pricing and Billing teams.</li><li>
Report equipment breakdowns, and maintenance requirements to the Fleet Dept. promptly.</li><li>
Participate on weekly Toolbox meeting and communicate &ldquo;hot topics&rdquo; to the Services Reps.</li><li>
Interviewing and Onboarding of new Service Reps.</li><li>
Lead training of new team members; create meetings and opportunities to further train existing team members</li><li>
Lead team involvement on service delivery issues like retains, cross drops, spills, runouts, or mispulls to ensure a resolution to is reached timely.</li><li>
Coordinate staffing and scheduling needs with Operations Manager to ensure excellent customer service and response is achieved</li><li>
Implement strategies to examine and improve key processes</li><li>
Evaluate and measure success potential against actual to identify areas of growth</li><li>

Major Responsibilities:

About the role
 
We are seeking an experienced and strategic Director of Inventory, Warehousing & Logistics to lead our inventory, warehousing and logistics function in support of our AMD Equipment program and related operational needs. This role will be accountable for capital and operational inventory management, owned and 3rd party warehouse operational performance, and logistics operations including our 4PL transportation and logistics partner.
 
The Director of Inventory, Warehousing & Logistics will collaborate with internal stakeholders to develop and maintain AMD Equipment part number and spare parts philosophies and strategies as well as related forecasting and planning efforts to ensure an uninterrupted supply of spare parts and consumables to Operations. The role will also be accountable for inventory accuracy and is expected to maintain a robust physical inventory count program. Lastly, the Director of Inventory, Warehousing & Logistics will be responsible for ensuring that all inventory is preserved and maintained in accordance with the AMD Preservation, Maintenance & Storage Program.
 
Key accountabilities
 
Develop and maintain inventory management strategies, policies, and processes to ensure inventory accuracy including a robust physical inventory count program and reliable inventory transactional discipline.
 Oversee capital and operational inventory management efforts.
 Partner with the Product Management Team (PMT), Development, and Operations to develop and maintain AMD Equipment part number and spare parts philosophies and strategies including establishment of appropriate minimum and maximum stocking levels.
 Analyze inventory trends and distribution metrics to inform replenishment, planning, and operational decisions to ensure an uninterrupted supply of spare parts and consumables to Operations.
 Identify and implement warehouse management and governance best practices for the sake of operational consistency and continual improvement across all owned and 3rd party warehouses.
 Oversee warehouse operations including receiving, storage, picking, packing, and shipping, ensuring efficiency, safety, and quality standards are met.
 Evaluate 3rd party warehouse performance and identify and implement corrective actions as required.
 Ensure that all inventory is preserved and maintained in accordance with the AMD Preservation, Maintenance & Storage Program.
 Oversee logistics and distribution, including carrier selection, freight optimization, and delivery performance including management of our 4PL transportation and logistics partner.
 Develop and implement process improvements, automation initiatives, and technology solutions to enhance operational performance.

This position offers paid vacation depending on your years of relevant industry experience and will range from 120 – 240 hours of vacation per year for full times employees (60 - 240 hours of vacation per year for part time employees).
