<li>Provides support to, and communicates with functional managers, process owners, and end users; analyzes process improvement and simplification opportunities and helps define systems and process changes or information requirements; develops specifications based on these requirements.</li>
<li>Serves as a project leader with programming, technical, vendor and business personnel to determine system requirements, resource requirements, installation and implementation plans.</li>
<li>Defines project tasks and assist management with task assignment, establishing timeframes, project milestones, progress monitoring, and requirements compliance.</li>
<li>Provides analysis of data or aids users in the retrieval and interpretation of data.</li>
<li>Develops an understanding of business processes and evaluates the business implications of system development and maintenance issues.</li>
<li>Maintains in depth understanding of the Mueller's business systems in Sales, Procurement, and Accounting management as well as QAD Security and Segregation of Duties.</li>
<li>Maintains a moderate understanding of each of Mueller's business areas and works with other IT analysts or business consultants on large cross-functional projects.</li>
<li>Accurately and timely identifies program, application, and system problems and assists in troubleshooting the cause.</li>
<li>Mentors less experienced IT personnel.</li>
