How you Will make a Difference:
<ul><li>Collect information to complete the MDS using the medical record, bedside assessment, and staff, resident and/or family interviews.</li><li>
Participate in Daily PPS meetings, weekly Medicare meetings, and month end meetings to assure federal billing requirements are met.</li><li>
Review Plan of Care at least quarterly and with each Comprehensive Assessment to assure changes during the quarter are included and updated.</li></ul>

This position supports case management activities through member outreach, clinical intake, data collection, and accurate information entry. The Clinical Coordinator ensures seamless communication between members, providers, and Nurse Case Managers while adhering to departmental workflows and quality standards.<br>

<div>The University of North Carolina TEACCH Autism program is system of university-based regional centers to serve autistic children, adolescents and adults and their families. As part of the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, the program has an active clinical, teaching, and research program. TEACCH operates seven community regional clinics. Our clinics and programs offer a set of core services along with unique demonstration programs meeting the needs of autistic individuals, their families, and professionals across the state of North Carolina. Also, part of TEACCH is the Carolina Living and Learning Center, a residential/vocational training facility for autistic adults as well as an Employment Services program providing Job Coaching and related services to adults on the spectrum.<br>

TEACCH is currently part of the North Carolina Area Health Education Centers (AHEC) program. All TEACCH programs are coordinated through a central administration and research unit in Chapel Hill, North Carolina.<br>

TEACCH provides clinical services such as diagnostic evaluations, psychotherapy, speech language therapy, occupational therapy and parent support groups. In addition, TEACCH conducts training within the state of North Carolina, nationally and internationally and provides consultation for teachers, residential care providers, and other professionals from a variety of disciplines.<br>

TEACCH conducts clinical research focused on providing evidence-based care to autistic individuals and their families in their home communities. Our research examines intervention effectiveness in clinic, school, and community settings. Ongoing research includes a school-based anxiety intervention program, a community college-based transition to adulthood program, a telehealth program treating depression and anxiety in autistic adults, and a physical activity program for autistic adults. Studies also examine the services needs related to early intervention, employment and aging.<br>

<div>This position will serve as an Assistant Clinical Research Coordinator within the TEACCH Autism Program.<br>

The selected candidate will assist in research activities for a Multisite Randomized Control Trial (RCT) of a Daily Living Skills Intervention for Autistic Adolescents Prior to the Transition to Adulthood. Other research activities will include related research projects on factors that affect outcomes for adults with autism. Activities will involve assisting the project coordinator with participant recruitment, conducting assessments around the state of North Carolina, and data collection and entry.<br>

The Assistant Clinical Research Coordinator assists with the execution of study protocols, including screening and recruiting study participants, conducting study visits, and collecting, entering, and reviewing study data.</div>

<div>This position may be eligible for a hybrid work arrangement that may include a partially remote work location, consistent with System Office policy. UNC Chapel Hill employees are generally required to reside within a reasonable commuting distance of their assigned duty station.<br>

The Schools and Units Lead Administrative Coordinator will report to an Assistant Vice Chancellor on the Schools and Unit team. The Schools and Units Lead Administrative Coordinator will provide comprehensive professional support to the assigned Assistant Vice Chancellor. The duties include administrative support and logistics, travel management, communications, finance/budget management, and other duties as assigned. The position will perform an extensive range of highly visible activities such as communication with various university and external constituents at multiple levels.<br>

The Schools and Units Lead Administrative Coordinator is responsible for independent problem solving, answering questions, providing information, and taking action on behalf of the assigned Assistant Vice Chancellor and others as authorized. This position must analyze, prioritize, and keep track of multiple pieces of complex and often confidential information in order to make accurate, efficient recommendations regarding workflow, and provide facilitation and processing of information and verbal and written correspondence. The individual must facilitate completion of work at a rapid pace on time-sensitive matters with routine interruptions. All of the above must be done with minimal errors and utmost professionalism in an office whose priorities must adapt to evolving needs and demands from within the University and with strategic partners.</div>

<div><div><b>Minimum Education and Experience Requirements</b></div>
<div>Bachelor&rsquo;s degree; or equivalent combination of training and experience. All degrees must be received from appropriately accredited institutions.</div>

2. Ability to work in a high paced or complex environment<br>
3. Ability to prioritize work amidst multiple demands to meet deadlines<br>
