ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS</b></p>
<ul><li>
Complies with Cuyahoga County Public Library&rsquo;s policies, rules, guidelines, procedures, requirements, standards, and practices applicable to the job, including (but not limited to) work scheduling and attendance, customer service, use of Library property, computer use, personal conduct, and confidentiality.</li><li>
Sorts and organizes returned materials onto carts; returns and shelves them in proper designated areas.</li><li>
Ensures materials are organized and arranged on shelves in correct order; shifting and straightening as necessary.</li><li>
Collects materials from book drop, and prepares them for re- shelving.</li><li>
Searches and locates materials per request lists and other requests.</li><li>
Straightens patron areas returning materials to proper place, moving furniture and replenishing supplies.</li><li>
Provides basic customer service to patrons as needed, such as answering directional questions or carrying materials.</li><li>
Prepares meeting rooms, ensuring they are properly arranged, doors are unlocked and needed equipment is in place.</li><li>
Rotates/purges dated newspapers and periodicals.</li><li>
Flags materials for repair, mending or processing.</li><li>
Assists in daily opening and closing of library building as needed.</li><li>
Clears walkways of snow and ice as needed.</li></ul>

PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORKING CONDITIONS</b></p>

Routine lifting of moderately heavy items, such as computer equipment or records boxes (over 25 pounds and up to 50 pounds without assistance), pushing full carts and/or standing for long periods of time as well as frequent stooping and bending.</li><li>
No major sources of working conditions discomfort, i.e. standard work environment with possible minor inconveniences due to occasional noise, crowded working conditions, and/or minor heating, cooling or ventilation problems.</li></ul></div>

<li>Inspect and maintain company-provided delivery vehicle, ensuring safety during the loading and unloading process</li>
<li>Establish and maintain outstanding relations with patients and internal team members</li>
<li>Maintain cleanliness and organization of delivery vehicle and warehouse, adhering to all FDA protocols</li>
<li>Work on-call rotation during evening and weekend hours to address any patient medical emergencies in accordance with company and local policies</li>
</ul>Requirements:

<ul><li>High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED), Required</li>
</ul><div><b>Work Experience</b></div>
<ul><li>Minimum, one year of experience in professional driving role or equivalent position, Required</li>
<li>Home care/health care background is a plus</li>
</ul><div><b>Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities</b></div>
<ul><li>Non CDL drivers can be 18 or older</li>
<li>CDL drivers are required to be 21 or older</li>
<li>Must be good with people, with excellent speaking and writing</li>
<li>Must maintain a valid D/L for appropriate class of vehicle driven while employed</li>
<li>Convey a positive and professional image to customers and employees</li>
<li>Read and understand DOT and FDA required paperwork</li>
<li>Critically think, make decisions, and be mentally alert</li>
<li>Strong customer service</li>
<li>Basic computer knowledge</li>
<li>Must lift 50+ pounds by oneself</li>
<li>Must lift excess of 50lbs with mechanical or employee assistance</li>
