 for a secondment role in Muscat Oman.

 Responsibilities
 
 
 
 Senior Mechanical Engineer-Rotary executes the activities and processes associated with Mechanical and Rotating engineering at Project, under TL scope. Apply and expand hands-on experience in Engineering, Procurement, Construction, commissioning and Operation in Oil and Gas industry. Responsible for supporting and execute general engineering activities directly linked to Mechanical engineering.

 Typical Responsibilities
 
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 Apply Mechanical Engineering Rotating practices, standards, and design codes.
 </li>
 <li>
 Challenge the project design assumptions and strive to bring more values to the project (value engineering)
 </li>
 <li>
 Provide innovative solutions to overcome project challenges including cost and schedule while still maintaining compliance to the design codes.
 </li>
 <li>
 Assist Mechanical engineers in delivering and reviewing engineering deliverables.
 </li>
 <li>
 Compile information from contractor reports; evaluate and analyze compiled information using Mechanical Engineering standards and codes.
 </li>
 <li>
 Provide directions and actively participate in the engineering reviews and meetings and take lead when required.
 </li>
 <li>
 Contribute to record the meetings and discussions
 </li>
 <li>
 Coordinate, prepare, and make a recording of engineering reviews as assigned by the Lead Mechanical Engineering Rotating.
 </li>
 <li>
 Follow up on the turnover of the Mechanical engineering documents.
 </li>
 <li>
 Participate in equipment selection and procurement process.
 </li>
 <li>
 Attend workshop and site inspection of Mechanical facilities as the plan permits.
 </li>
 <li>
 Attend FAT and SAT of equipment as required.
 </li>
 <li>
 Inspect project site to monitor HSE, progress, and ensure conformance to design specifications and project standards.
 </li>
 <li>
 Prepare and deliver presentations on certain subjects as the project develops.
 </li>
 <li>
 Other relevant duties as requested from time to time.

 Experience
 
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 Minimum 15 years of experience in similar projects
 </li>
 <li>
 Mechanical Engineering Degree with relevant certification
 </li>
 <li>
 Experience in refinery and petrochemical projects preferred
 </li>
 <li>
 TA 2 certification is preferred.

 We are seeking an experienced Civil Engineer to oversee and verify civil works for a Combined Cycle Gas Turbine (CCGT) power plant during construction and pre-commissioning. The role ensures compliance with drawings, specifications, ITPs, method statements, and applicable standards, with a strong focus on quality, safety, and timely delivery. You will work closely with the EPC/Contractor, Owner&rsquo;s Engineer, and HSE teams to ensure all civil and structural works meet project requirements.
 
 
 
 Responsibilities

 Manage and oversee all civil engineering activities on site related to Open/Close Cycle Gas Turbine (OCGT/CCGT) projects and Substation Projects.

 Ensure compliance with design specifications and regulatory requirements.

 Coordinate with project managers, engineers, Owner and contractors to ensure smooth project execution.
 </li>
 <li>
 Supervise site preparation, foundation construction, structural works, and infrastructure development.
 </li>
 <li>
 Conduct regular inspections to monitor progress, quality, and safety standards.
 </li>
 <li>
 Address technical queries and provide solutions to any civil engineering challenges encountered during construction.
 </li>
 <li>
 Collaborate with stakeholders to optimize project outcomes and mitigate risks.
 </li>
 <li>
 Prepare regular progress reports and documentation for project milestones.

 Qualifications

 Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in civil engineering or related field.
 </li>
 <li>
 4-8 years of experience in civil engineering roles with a focus on Open Cycle Gas Turbine (OCGT) projects.
 </li>
 <li>
 Strong understanding of civil engineering principles, construction methodologies, and materials.
 </li>
 <li>
 Knowledge of regulatory requirements and safety standards applicable to Open/Close Cycle Gas Turbine (OCGT/CCGT) projects and Substation projects.
 </li>
 <li>
 Familiarity with environmental regulations and sustainability practices in Open/Close Cycle Gas Turbine (OCGT/CCGT) projects and Substation projects.
