Primary Function

The Purchasing Officer is responsible for managing procurement activities for office operations and project requirements. This role ensures the timely, cost-effective, and compliant acquisition of materials, equipment, and services while maintaining strong relationships with approved suppliers. The Purchasing Officer plays a key role in supporting project execution and office efficiency through effective procurement planning, vendor coordination, and documentation. 
Essential Duties &amp; Responsibilities
<ul><li>Plan, coordinate, and execute the procurement of office supplies, materials, equipment, and project-related items from approved vendors</li>
<li>Source suppliers, obtain and evaluate quotations, and negotiate pricing and delivery terms to achieve best value</li>
<li>Maintain and manage supplier relationships to ensure reliability, quality, and timely delivery</li>
<li>Prepare and process purchase requests, purchase orders, and related procurement documentation in accordance with company procedures</li>
<li>Coordinate with project teams and office staff to understand procurement requirements and delivery schedules</li>
<li>Track purchase orders and ensure materials and services are delivered on time and as specified</li>
<li>Maintain accurate procurement records, including quotations, purchase orders, delivery notes, invoices, and expense reports</li>
<li>Monitor inventory and office supply levels and proactively plan replenishment</li>

Qualifications &amp; Skills

<li>Minimum of 3&ndash;5 years of experience in purchasing, procurement, or supply chain support, preferably within construction or contracting environment</li>
