 <div>Job Purpose
The Punch List Coordinator is responsible for managing, tracking, coordinating, and closing punch list items generated during inspections, construction completion, and pre-commissioning phases of an EPCM project. The role ensures that all punch items are properly documented, assigned, monitored, and closed prior to system turnover and mechanical completion.
Key Responsibilities 1. Punch List Management
<ul><li>Maintain the master punch list register for the project.
</li><li>Record punch items generated during walkdowns, inspections, and system completions.
</li><li>Ensure punch items are categorized (e.g., A / B / C priority or Pre-MC / Post-MC).
</li><li>Assign punch items to responsible contractors, disciplines, or vendors.
</li></ul>2. Coordination
<ul><li>Coordinate with construction, QA/QC, engineering, commissioning, and contractors to resolve punch list items.
</li><li>Organize and participate in system walkdowns and inspections.
</li><li>Liaise with discipline engineers to verify completion and accept closure of punch items.
</li></ul>3. Tracking and Reporting
<ul><li>Track the status of open punch items and follow up for timely closure.
</li><li>Generate daily / weekly punch list reports.
</li><li>Monitor critical punch items impacting Mechanical Completion (MC) and RFSU(PSSR)
</li><li>Highlight delays and escalate unresolved items to project management.
</li></ul>4. Verification &amp; Closure
<ul><li>Verify that completed punch items meet project specifications and quality standards.
</li><li>Support joint verification with QA/QC and commissioning teams.
</li><li>Ensure proper documentation before marking punch items as closed.
</li></ul>5. Documentation Control
<ul><li>Maintain records in project completion systems such as:
Completion Management Systems (CMS)
</li><li>Ensure documentation is properly archived for handover to operations.
6. Interface with Commissioning and Operations team
</li><li>Support system completion and turnover packages.
</li><li>Ensure punch list items are aligned with Mechanical Completion Certificates (MCC).
</li><li>Coordinate with commissioning/Operations for system PSSR walkdowns acceptance and handover.</li></ul></div>
