We are seeking a technically competent Sales Assistant (Engineering Background) to join our commercial team in Abu Dhabi. The role supports sales activities across client engagement, technical coordination, order processing and administrative functions to ensure professional service delivery.
The successful candidate must have an engineering qualification or technical background and will support the sales team in handling technical documentation and client queries.<h4 class="jobSectionHeader">
Key Responsibilities &ndash; Sales Support, Administration &amp; Customer Service</h4><ul><li>
Support the sales team by preparing and issuing technical quotations, proposals and compliance documentation accurately and on time.</li><li>
Review client enquiries and drawings, coordinating with engineering teams to ensure correct technical submissions.</li><li>
Process customer orders and track delivery schedules in coordination with logistics and operations.</li><li>
Act as a first point of contact for customers, responding to general and basic technical enquiries, escalating complex issues when required.</li><li>
Maintain and update CRM systems, pricing structures, product data and technical specifications.</li><li>
Assist in preparing tender and bid documentation, including technical datasheets, compliance statements and supporting documents.</li><li>
Coordinate meetings, technical presentations and client visits.</li><li>
Support invoicing and documentation required for project progress and handover.</li><li>
Prepare sales and performance reports for management review.</li></ul><h4 class="jobSectionHeader">
Essential Skills &ndash; Customer Service, Organisation &amp; Communication</h4><ul><li>
Engineering Background: Diploma or Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Civil, or related Engineering discipline.</li><li>
Technical Understanding: Ability to interpret basic technical drawings, specifications and product data.</li><li>
Customer Service: Professional communication skills with the ability to engage technical and non-technical clients.</li><li>
Organisation: Strong administrative and time-management skills.</li><li>
IT Literacy: Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) and CRM systems.</li><li>
Attention to Detail: Accurate handling of technical and commercial documentation.</li></ul><h4 class="jobSectionHeader">
Experience &amp; Requirements</h4><ul><li>
Minimum 1&ndash;3 years&rsquo; experience in sales support, technical sales coordination or engineering-related commercial roles.</li><li>

Strong understanding of sales processes and order management.</li><li>
Based in Abu Dhabi and willing to attend client meetings and site visits when required.</li><li>
