 About the Role :
 
 
 
 Our Engineering team is expanding in Qatar due to a strong pipeline of projects. We are seeking an experienced Senior Hydraulics Engineer to join our integrated, multi-disciplinary team, delivering projects across infrastructure, buildings, transport, and more.
 
 
 
 Key Responsibilities
 
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 Execute hydraulic engineering tasks, ensuring adherence to delivery standards, procedures, and deadlines.
 </li>
 <li>
 Apply technical knowledge to solve routine and complex problems independently, using established methodologies.
 </li>
 <li>
 Manage smaller or routine projects as Project Manager when required.
 </li>
 <li>
 Maintain and strengthen client relationships through excellent service and delivery, ensuring repeat business.
 </li>
 <li>
 Communicate project progress and proactively address issues that may impact project timelines.
 </li>
 <li>
 Coordinate activities with peers and provide informal guidance to junior team members as needed.
 </li>
 <li>
 Work under the guidance of supervisors and project leaders, with regular review of deliverables.
 
 
 </li>
 </ul>
 
 Required Competencies &amp; Qualifications
 
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 Bachelor&rsquo;s or Master&rsquo;s degree in Mechanical Engineering.
 </li>
 <li>
 Minimum 10 years&rsquo; experience in mechanical engineering, with a focus on hydraulic systems (drainage, water supply, firefighting).
 </li>
 <li>
 Proven track record of successfully completed hydraulic engineering projects.
 </li>
 <li>
 Proficiency in hydraulic modeling software and tools (Revit, AutoCAD, Elite).
 </li>
 <li>
 Strong knowledge of fluid mechanics, pipe flow, pump selection, and hydraulic system design.
 </li>
 <li>
 Familiarity with stormwater management, water distribution, and wastewater systems.
 </li>
 <li>
 Knowledge of local and international codes and standards for hydraulic engineering.
 </li>
 <li>
 Experience ensuring regulatory compliance and permitting.
 </li>
 <li>
 Basic understanding of HVAC works, including HAP calculations.
 </li>
 <li>
 Strong report writing skills.
 </li>
 <li>
 Commercial awareness of financial, market, economic, legal, and regulatory environments.
 </li>
 <li>
 Agile learner, client-centric, and able to build trust within teams.
 </li>
 <li>
 Previous project experience in Qatar and UAE is strongly preferred
