  Key Responsibilities

   The Principal Safety Engineer provides leadership and assurance across all phases of engineering projects (concept, FEED, detailed design, and execution).
  </li>
  <li>
   The role is responsible for driving the implementation of Company's and International HSE standards and best practices, ensuring that safety is fully integrated into engineering design and operational philosophy.
  </li>
  <li>
   The position leads hazard identification and risk assessment studies (HAZID, HAZOP, LOPA, SIL), develops safety philosophies and engineering solutions, and supports quantitative risk assessments, fire and explosion analysis, and functional safety lifecycle activities.
  </li>
  <li>
   The Principal Engineer works closely with multidisciplinary teams and clients to ensure regulatory compliance, risk reduction (ALARP), and required safety performance.
  </li>

   Additionally, the role acts as a technical authority, guiding junior engineers, reviewing deliverables, supporting audits and safety cases, and contributing to continuous improvement of HSE practices within the organization.

   Chartered Engineer status (e.g., CEng, PE) or equivalent professional registration (highly desirable)
