In this role, the FSTD Support Engineer II will be expected to perform complex but standard technical tasks including preventative and corrective maintenance work of FSTD.</div><div></div><div>
1- Support the Flight Simulator Training Devices and Other Training Devices: Attend maintenance calls, device setup, conversions, demos, assist during Simulator Flight Tests, support snag clearance activities, etc&hellip;</div><div>
2-Independently perform the Preventive Maintenance Tasks (PMTs), Daily Readiness (DR), Recurrent QTG runs, Aircraft Database (ADB) updates, &amp; IOS Lesson Plan (LP) updates on the training devices &amp; associated systems. Ensure that all tasks are carried out according to the standards. Ensure that deficiencies associated with these tasks are followed up, actioned, and closed in a timely manner.</div><div>
3-Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve training device issues, including AOGs and NAA raised issues. Perform hardware refurbishment, and modifications. Identify recurring issues and work to pursue permanent solutions. Monitor SimHub/Simissues for updates &amp; use the Computerized Maintenance Management System to record, track, review, update, &amp; monitor deficiencies and other maintenance activities. Produce reports for TCOPS Management to monitor performance and identify trends.</div><div>
4-May be assigned to the role of Shift Lead, Team Lead, Device Caretaker or Task Caretaker. Manage all aspects of the assigned role autonomously. Create, improve, or update procedures &amp; guidelines for new, routine, and non-routine tasks.</div><div>
5-Work with the FSTD Technical Specialists on issues that require testing, troubleshooting. Take on special projects based on the needs of the Training Center Operation.</div><div>

As a Simulator Support Technician/Engineer, you will be responsible for activities in the following areas:</div><ul><li>
Diagnose and correct problems on flight simulator and associated simulator systems.</li><li>
Perform preventive maintenance tasks on the simulator and associated simulator systems.</li><li>
Diagnose and correcting problems on the simulators and associated simulator systems.</li><li>
Utilize maintenance management system to record and track maintenance activities.</li><li>
Mentor Junior technicians in basic skills.</li><li>
Provide On Job Technical Training to other technicians.</li><li>
Complete all required training activities.</li><li>
Pursue knowledge and skills to enhance ability as a technical expert.</li><li>
Perform pre-flight and post flight on all simulators.</li><li>
Perform visual alignments.</li><li>
Run and evaluate required Qualification Test Guide (QTG) tests.</li><li>
Assist Engineering Team with modifications, design changes, and software enhancements.</li><li>
Perform refurbishment and hardware modifications.</li><li>
Perform software changes to correct problems on the simulator and associated simulator systems.</li><li>
Identify and coordinate efforts to correct training deficiencies.</li><li>
Assist Group Leader in day-to-day operation of maintenance activities.</li><li>
Learn and comply with CAE Compliance Management System.</li><li>
Provide customer service support and address customer needs in a timely manner.</li><li>
Perform logistics duties, including parts received, repair, and testing/validation.</li><li>
Perform housekeeping functions to maintain the simulators as required.</li><li>
