Job Title: Senior Officer — HR & Administration
About the Role
We are looking for an experienced and proactive Senior Officer — HR & Administration to join our team. This role is ideal for an HR professional who can independently manage core HR functions and administrative operations while ensuring compliance and a great employee experience.
Key Responsibilities
Recruitment & Onboarding
- Manage end-to-end recruitment — job postings, screening, interviews, and offer letters
- Coordinate with department heads to define hiring needs
- Conduct onboarding sessions and ensure new hire documentation is complete
- Maintain talent pipeline and applicant tracking system
HR Operations & Compliance
- Maintain accurate employee records in HRMS
- Process monthly payroll inputs — attendance, leaves, deductions
- Ensure compliance with labor laws and company policies
- Manage contracts, renewals, warnings, and disciplinary documentation
- Handle separations — clearance, final settlements, exit interviews
Employee Relations & Engagement
- Serve as point of contact for employee HR queries
- Support employee engagement and wellness initiatives
- Assist in performance appraisal cycles
- Handle grievances professionally and confidentially
Training & Development
- Coordinate training needs assessments and scheduling
- Maintain training records and evaluate effectiveness
- Support internal training calendar development
Administration
- Oversee office administration — vendor management and facility upkeep
- Manage supplies, travel arrangements, and logistics
- Maintain filing systems and document control
- Coordinate cross-departmentally with IT, Finance, and others
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in HR, Business Administration, or related field
- HR certification (SHRM-CP, PHR, or equivalent) is a plus
- 2 years of progressive HR & admin experience
- Hands-on experience with HRMS/payroll software (SAP, BambooHR, Oracle, etc.)
- Strong knowledge of labor laws and HR best practices
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- High level of discretion and confidentiality
- Proficient in MS Office Suite
- Strong organizational skills and ability to work independently
