Position: TAC Engineer Level-1
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Provide technical support to customers via phone, email from corporate clients.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot internet and data connectivity issues related to Customer Premises Equipment (CPE), including routers and switches.
- Offer technical assistance and guidance on a range of internet and data technologies, including GPON, RF P2P, P2MP, VSAT Technologies, Metro Fiber, Dark Core, 3G/4G, LTE, and email services.
- Collaborate with internal teams such as Network Operations, Engineering, Fiber Optics, and other relevant teams to escalate and resolve technical and last-mile issues effectively.
- Record support interactions, including steps taken to resolve issues and customer feedback, within the ticketing system.
- Actively monitor network performance and identify potential issues before they affect customers.
- Participate in regular training sessions and team meetings to share insights and best practices.
Skills and Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Telecommunications, Electronics, Computer Engineering, Computer Science or equivalent from a reputable university with a minimum CGPA of 3.0.
- Experience in technical support roles, preferably in the telecommunications or ISP industry.
- Strong knowledge of internet protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP), networking fundamentals, and email protocols (SMTP, IMAP, POP3)
- Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills with the ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues efficiently.
- CCNA training or certification would be preferred.
- Open to fresh graduates or individuals with 1-2 years of relevant experience.
- Basic understanding and experience in network security principles and practices.
- Knowledge of Linux and VM environment are a plus.
- Willingness to work on an 8-hour shift rotation schedule
