Business Developer / Upwork Bidder

Position Overview
We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Upwork Bidder / Business Development Executive with 5+ years of proven expertise in generating business through Upwork and other freelancing platforms. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of IT services, project scoping, and client communication to help us secure long-term projects and partnerships.

Key Responsibilities

• Identify, bid, and win projects on Upwork and similar freelance platforms.
• Write compelling proposals tailored to client requirements.
• Communicate with clients to clarify project scope, requirements, and expectations.
• Collaborate with internal technical teams (UI/UX, Developers, QA, Project Managers) to prepare accurate cost/time estimations.
• Maintain and grow relationships with clients to ensure repeat business.
• Meet monthly/quarterly targets for lead generation and project acquisition.

Requirements

• 5+ years of proven experience as an Upwork Bidder, Business Development Executive, or in a similar role.
• Strong understanding of IT services (Web, Mobile, SaaS, AI, and Custom Software Development).
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proven ability to draft persuasive, tailored proposals.
• Ability to work independently and achieve sales targets.
• Strong negotiation and client handling skills.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with other platforms such as Fiverr, PeoplePerHour, and Freelancer.com.
• Familiarity with CRM tools and project management software.
• A proactive and target-oriented mindset.
