Job Title: Business Developer

Location: Johar Town Lahore

Reports To: Head of Business Development / CEO

Position Summary:

The Business Developer will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, driving partnerships, and developing strategies that will contribute to the growth and success of the blockchain company. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of blockchain technology, as well as strong business acumen and the ability to build meaningful relationships with clients, investors, and partners.

Key Responsibilities:

Business Strategy Development.

  • Develop and execute strategies to expand the company's market presence.
  • Identify potential market trends and opportunities for blockchain-based solutions.
  • Conduct market research to understand customer needs and competitors' offerings.
  • Collaborate with the marketing and product teams to align business strategies with product development.

Partnerships and Networking:

  • Establish and maintain relationships with key industry stakeholders, including investors, strategic partners, and clients.
  • Attend industry events, conferences, and blockchain-related meetups to increase company visibility and forge new business relationships.
  • Negotiate and close deals with partners and clients that align with company objectives

Client Acquisition and Retention:

  • Lead business development efforts for new projects, from initial discussions to final agreements.
  • Develop and present proposals and presentations to prospective clients and partners.
  • Ensure client satisfaction and identify opportunities for long-term partnerships and recurring business.

Sales and Revenue Generation:

  • Drive revenue generation through the development of new business opportunities.
  • Work closely with the sales team to meet revenue targets and business goals.
  • Ensure that clients understand the value proposition of blockchain technology and its benefits for their businesses.
  • Conduct sales presentations and demonstrations to convert prospects into clients.

Blockchain Education and Advocacy:

  • Educate clients and partners on the benefits and potential of blockchain technology and its applications.
  • Stay updated on the latest trends and advancements in blockchain and decentralized technologies.

Market Analysis and Reporting:

  • Monitor market trends, customer needs, and competitor activities to identify growth opportunities.
  • Provide regular reports to management on business development progress, market insights, and forecasts.
  • Develop and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) for business development activities.

Skills and Qualifications:

Experience:

  • Minimum of 06-1 years of business development or sales experience, preferably in the blockchain, cryptocurrency, or technology sectors.
  • Strong understanding of blockchain technology, smart contracts, and decentralized applications (DApps).
  • Proven track record of driving business growth and securing strategic partnerships.

Skills:

  • Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to think strategically and act tactically to drive business results.
  • Excellent presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex concepts in a simple manner.
  • Proficiency in CRM software and sales tools (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot).
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to assess market trends and develop business strategies.

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Finance, Computer Science, or a related field.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of emerging blockchain platforms and their ecosystem (e.g., Ethereum, Polkadot, Solana, etc.).
  • Experience in fundraising or raising capital, such as through ICOs, STOs, or venture capital.
  • A strong network in the blockchain and cryptocurrency community.

Working Conditions:

  • Full-time position,
  • Travel to conferences and business meetings may be required.
