Job Title: Ocean Freight Executive

Job Summary:

Flink Freight Logistics is seeking a detail-oriented Ocean Freight Executive to manage international sea freight operations. The role involves handling FCL and LCL shipments, coordinating with shipping lines and overseas agents, and ensuring smooth execution of import and export shipments from origin to destination.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage end-to-end ocean freight operations including FCL and LCL shipments
• Coordinate with shipping lines, NVOCCs, and freight forwarders for booking and space allocation
• Handle export and import documentation including Bill of Lading, Shipping Instructions, and related paperwork
• Monitor vessel schedules, cut-off times, and shipment tracking
• Coordinate with ports, customs brokers, and transport providers for timely cargo movement
• Prepare freight quotations and provide shipment updates to clients and internal teams
• Ensure compliance with Incoterms, customs regulations, and international shipping procedures
• Track shipments and resolve operational issues such as delays, demurrage, detention, and documentation discrepancies
• Maintain communication with international agents and logistics partners

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business, or related field (preferred)
• 1–3 years of experience in ocean freight, freight forwarding, or shipping operations
• Strong knowledge of FCL, LCL, Bill of Lading, Incoterms, and export/import procedures
• Understanding of shipping lines, port operations, and customs processes
• Strong communication and coordination skills
• Ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines
• Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word)

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with international trade lanes (Middle East, Far East, Europe)
• Familiarity with freight booking systems and logistics software
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
• High attention to detail in documentation and coordination
