Your Role &amp; Team in a Nutshell
As a Statutory Accountant, you will prepare statutory accounts, adjust Turkish GAAP entries, reconcile US GAAP valuations, manage audits, complete VAT returns, and ensure compliance. You will handle employee withholdings, personal income tax filings, and manage import/export transactions. 
You will be part of a dedicated finance team of three people, based in our Istanbul office.

Your Key Responsibilities:
<ul><li>Prepare Annual Statutory Accounts for the Newell Turkey legal entity using Logo.</li><li>
Adjust Turkish GAAP entries, including fixed assets, inventories, revenue reclassifications, and bad debt reserves.</li><li>
Reconcile Turkish GAAP accounts payables and Accounts receivables.</li><li>
Format Accounts as required by Turkish regulations.</li><li>
Generate Management Reports</li><li>
Manage Statutory Audits and liaise with auditors.</li><li>
Complete VAT Returns monthly and annually, ensuring VAT compliance.</li><li>
Handle Bank payments and accounting records .</li><li>
