Responsibilities

Perform general accounting and financial analysis activities, including the preparation of journal entries, reconciliation of ledger accounts, preparation of financial statements, reports and schedules. Prepare, complete, analyze and report accounting transactions and system maintenance ensuring integrity of accounting records for completeness, accuracy and compliance with accepted accounting policies and principles including ERISA and SEC requirement where applicable. Provide financial support to the business including forecasting, budgeting, and analyzing variations from budget. Maintain strong working relationships with customers. Conduct financial, business analyses and modeling using forecasts, financial statements, and other business inputs to assess risk, improvement opportunities and potential costs and/or benefits. Focus of responsibilities may be to perform accounts receivable, accounts payable, payroll, credit and collection, sales rebate duties. Demonstrate strong commitment to safety, quality, environmental awareness, and continuous process improvement. Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications: HS Diploma, GED, or two (2) years equivalent work experience. Normal office environment with minimal physical exertion.
Preferred Qualifications: Typically more than three (3) years of experience in related job function. Role may require technical certification or associates degree. Requires effective communication, interpersonal, organizational, and technical skills and proficient computer skills.

<li>Maintain accurate work order records of work performed and time clocked on jobs.</li>
<li>Follow warranty vendor guidelines while keeping the service desk informed. Ensure that all parts are properly marked, retained, and handled according to the vendors' warranty requirements.</li>
<li>Accept and represent the department in all assigned after hours call out situations, ensuring timely response, professional communication, and proper resolution of issues.</li>
<li>Assist in developing apprentice technicians by providing guidance and on the job training as directed by the Service Manager/Foreman ensuring skill growth and adherence to department standards.</li>

QUALIFICATIONS: 
Ability to read, write, and comprehend English instructions and information. High school diploma or the equivalent. Five years of experience as a heavy-duty truck repair technician with an emphasis on engine repair. Working knowledge of all heavy truck repair methods. Ability to operate power and hand tools and other equipment safely. Working knowledge of P/C and Computers Excellent organization and communication skills. Valid Commercial Driver's License preferred and good driving record.
 
WORKING CONDITIONS: This is a physically demanding position. Will stand six to eight hours per shift. Will stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, reach, handle and feel. Will lift parts weighing up to 50 pounds. Will use hand and power tools, hoist and test equipment. Will be exposed to noise, vibration, dust, exhaust fumes, paint, and other hazardous and nonhazardous materials.

JOB SUMMARY: The primary function of the Service Technician is to perform superior quality repairs to customer equipment and make recommendations for further services as determined by the Technician during service.
 
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: 
<ul>
<li>Receives repair order assignments from Shop Foreman</li>
<li>Follows instructions and executes work assignments in repair order thoroughly and efficiently.</li>
<li>Maintains superior standard of workmanship in all services performed.</li>
<li>Advises Shop Foreman of any recommended changes in services ordered by the customer</li>
<li>Determines if any further repairs or servicing should be recommended to the customer, and communicates such recommendations to the Shop Foreman</li>
<li>Maintains a level of training and experience with specialized equipment, machinery, and servicing techniques necessary for superior servicing of the customer's equipment</li>
<li>Attends training sessions as required by the Service Manager</li>
<li>Performs additional repairs as required when any piece of equipment is returned by the customer because of the Technician's faulty workmanship</li>
<li>Maintains accurate work order records of work performed and time clocked jobs.</li>
</ul>
QUALIFICATIONS: 
Minimum 2-3 years' experience in medium and/or heavy truck repair and maintenance. Outstanding mechanical aptitude and skills necessary to produce top results. Driver's license and clean driving record. Personal motivation and self-reliance. Manual dexterity. Ability to operate power and hand tools and other equipment safely. Excellent organization and communication skills. High school diploma or the equivalent. Ability to read, write and comprehend English instructions and information
 
WORKING CONDITIONS: 
This is a physically demanding position. Will stand six to eight hours per shift. Will stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, reach, handle and feel. Will lift parts weighing up to 50 pounds. Will use hand and power tools, hoist and test equipment. Will be exposed to noise, vibration, dust, exhaust fumes, paint, and other hazardous and nonhazardous materials.
