Job Summary: 
As a Lead Software Engineer at JPMorgan Chase within the Wholesale Credit Risk team, you will play a pivotal role in designing and implementing scalable hybrid cloud solutions. You will collaborate with development leads and senior stakeholders to deliver robust solutions, while mentoring team members and fostering a collaborative environment. Job responsibilities<ul>
<li>Architect, design, and implement scalable hybrid cloud solutions for transactional, analytics and RAD workloads.</li>

Required qualifications, capabilities and skills<ul>
<li>Formal training or certification on hybrid cloud architecture concepts and 5+ years applied experience</li>
<li>Proven experience in hybrid cloud architecture (AWS, Azure, GCP, or private cloud).</li>
<li>Strong coding skills in languages such as Java, Python, React or similar.</li>
<li>Deep understanding of distributed systems, data pipelines, and analytics platforms.</li>
<li>Experience with CI/CD, DevOps, and modern software engineering practices.</li>
<li>Excellent interpersonal and presentation skills.</li>
<li>Demonstrated ability to work with development leads and senior stakeholders.</li></ul>

Carries governance accountability for coding decisions, control obligations, and measures of success such as cost of ownership, maintainability, and portfolio operations.</li><li>
Delivers technical solutions that can be leveraged across multiple businesses and domains.</li><li>

Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills<ul><li>
Formal training, or certification on software engineering concepts and 10+ years applied experience. In addition, 5+ years of experience leading technologists to manage, anticipate and solve complex technical items within your domain of expertise
</li><li>Experience in enterprise-scale application design, development, and operational stability.</li><li>
Experience developing and leading cross-functional teams of technologists.</li><li>
Hands-on experience with Python, Java, Perl/C &amp; Spring Boot, Databases and cloud-native foundations.</li><li>
Ability to present and effectively communicate with Senior Executives</li><li>
Proficiency with designing and developing applications on AWS</li><li>
Understanding of Financial products (e.g. Fixed Income Securities, Structured products, Derivatives, Private credit etc.)</li><li>
Understanding of financial reference and market data.</li><li>
Proficiency in AI agentic development (e.g. Claude Code, Co-pilot) in designing, building software and accelerating engineering efficiency</li><li>
