The Opportunity: The Asset Protection Associate is located at the AG Retail Flagship Chicago location and reports directly to the Retail Asset Protection Manager. This position is responsible for maintaining a safe environment for American Girl customers and employees, as well as safeguarding company assets. The individual we seek must be able to multi-task, have outstanding communication skills, and exhibit a high level of compassion and understanding while maintaining a professional detachment.
What Your Impact Will Be: 
<ul><li>
Maintain safe environment for American Girl customers/guests and store employees by monitoring/correcting safety concerns and controlling/guiding customer traffic when needed.</li><li>
Provide external and internal customer service in a positive, friendly, and professional business manner and the skill set to diffuse escalated situations.</li><li>
Prevent the loss of company assets through surveillance, conducting employee package checks and trash checks and is knowledgeable of civil and criminal laws pertaining to retail security.</li><li>
Serve as a safety mentor for store employees, lead by example.</li></ul> 
What We&rsquo;re Looking For:<ul><li>
Must be available to work evening, weekend, and holiday shifts.</li><li>
One to two years of loss prevention, law enforcement, criminal justice, military, or security experience, preferred.</li><li>
State specific license, if applicable.</li><li>
Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook Software programs, preferred.</li><li>
Demonstrated ability working with a broad and diverse work force and customer base, including working with children, preferred.</li></ul>

About this Role:
W e are seeking a Senior IT Support Technician to provide hands-on, on-site and remote IT support for our Chicago-area offices.  Responsibilities:

 Utilizes technical coding expertise to assign appropriate ICD-10-CM and CPT-4 codes to outpatient visit types. Reviews the medical record thoroughly, utilizing all available documentation to code appropriate diagnoses and procedures
 </li>
 <li>
 Interprets health record documentation using knowledge of anatomy, physiology, clinical disease process, pharmacology, and medical terminology to report appropriate diagnoses and/or procedures.
 </li>
 <li>
 Sends appropriate physician queries when required for documentation clarification. Follows Coding Clinic for HCPCs, CPT Assistant, and interprets coding conventions and instructional notes to select appropriate diagnoses and procedures with a minimum of 95% accuracy
 </li>
 <li>
 Broad focus of anatomy on entire body system
 </li>
 <li>
 Provides technical expertise to analyze system related changes and participates in testing of software modifications. Identifies opportunities to enhance CAC (computer assisted coding), i.e. notifying IT liaison of documents filing to Default folder, incorrect system assigned codes, etc.

 Resolves NCCI Edits with approved hospital modifiers
 </li>
 <li>
 Utilizes 3M Encoder resources to ensure optimal coding accuracy
 </li>

 Articulates rationale for coding selections, when necessary, ie. Prompted by results of data quality audit

 Meets established minimum coding productivity (90%) and quality standards (95%) for each outpatient encounter type

 Required:

 Credentialed by the AHIMA (American Health Information Management Association). CE requirement to remain credentialed is 20-30 CE's every two years
