<p>PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES</p>
<ul><li>Establishes a high degree to excellence in the Housekeeping Department to all assigned areas of the Hotel.</li><li>To be specifically concerned with Room Attendants, Floor Supervisors, Public Area Supervisors, Public Area Attendants and Linen Room.</li><li>In the absence of the Executive Housekeeper, the Assistant Executive Housekeeper will operate the Housekeeping Department and all other areas of responsibility.</li><li>Work closely with and maintain a high degree of excellence for the Service Department.</li><li>Be specifically responsible for the standards of all Guest rooms, Suites, Corridors, back-of-the-house storage and linen rooms.</li><li>Ensure Front-of-the-House public area standards are excellent at all times.</li><li>Ensure all Supervisors continually inspect assigned areas and have turned in inspections.</li><li>Ensure effective and complete training is in use and all associates are well trained.</li><li>Ensure proper key controls are in effect.</li><li>Take accurate linen inventories per SOP.</li><li>Take accurate Guest supply inventory every period.</li><li>Review operating statements and critique unusual surpluses and shortages.</li><li>Audit and approve schedules, wage projections, wage recaps and payroll.</li><li>Review out-of-order rooms daily.</li><li>Provide up-to-date job descriptions for all supervisors and associates.</li><li>Give immediate response to all Guest problems and correspondence.</li><li>Ensure Lost &amp; Found articles are stored properly and logs are maintained.</li><li>Any and all assignments by the Executive Housekeeper must be followed through.</li><li>To ensure effective communications through attending meeting and imparting information at regularly held staff meetings with assistant housekeepers.</li></ul>

ADMINISTRATIVE RESPONSIBILITIES</p>
<ul><li>Ensure all reports are prepared completely and on time.</li><li>Involve Supervisors and Linen Room Attendants in as many administrative functions.</li><li>To prepare and submit, on the required format, all information necessary for budgeting purposes.</li><li>Screens and Acknowledges daily work schedules.</li><li>Ensures that an effective duty assigned to the sufficiency of manpower in accordance to volume of business.</li><li>Manages time effectively by meeting deadlines on time.</li><li>Administers personnel action on leaves &amp; overtime requests, disciplinary actions and commendation.</li><li>Identifies and solves problems in a professional manner.</li><li>Acknowledges logbook and ensures that each recorded problems is attended.</li><li>Ensures that consumption reports, inventories, lost &amp; found log books are handled according to the policies and procedures.</li></ul>

TECHNICAL RESPONSIBILITIES</p>
<ul><li>Understands and can explain job descriptions of all positions in the Housekeeping Department</li><li>Knows and understands policies relating to Housekeeping, laundry, and other areas in the Rooms and Guest Services including Engineering and other departments.</li><li>Recognizes good quality products and presentation.</li><li>Checks and improves all service standards established by the company.</li><li>Provides assistance to the staff when required during peak periods.</li><li>Maintains grooming standards for all personnel.</li><li>Conserve energy and water at all time by not decreasing guest comfort and cleaning efficiency.</li><li>Ensures that Housekeeping and related departments&rsquo; employees can communicate with guests and the fellow employees politely and professionally.</li><li>Maintains and improves the quality of services and facilities according to the company&rsquo;s standards at all times.</li></ul>

<ul><li>Communicates effectively with guest, clients, business partners and employees.</li><li>To be a good sales person to promote hotel&rsquo;s image and businesses.</li><li>Participates community projects or activities in order to promoting the hotel&rsquo;s image and cooperation to improve community relationship.</li><li>Represents management team, hotel, and company well with any external guests.</li></ul>
