Job Description 
<ul><li>
To assist in planning manpower requirements to achieve an efficient usage of labour, considering business needs and seasonal trends.</li><li>
Assist in preparing yearly budgets for the laundry department and remain fully accountable for revenue objectives.</li><li>
Work with colleagues across the hotel to ensure all guest requirements are met.</li><li>
Oversee and manage the laundry function of the hotel, actively looking for ways to exceed guest expectations at all times.</li><li>
Ensure that all guest laundry is processed quickly and efficiently in line with the requirements of the guest.</li><li>
Ensure that all laundry machines and equipment are well maintained and work properly.</li><li>
Ensure that all linen and uniforms of the hotel are in good and clean condition.</li><li>
Manage relationships and contracts with suppliers.</li><li>
Ensure that departmental SOP&rsquo;s are current and in effect and available for all team members to use as reference, revise and update when necessary.</li><li>
Rostering and scheduling of all Laundry personnel.</li><li>
Supervise and manage the work of all team members in the Laundry department</li><li>
Ensure health &amp; safety requirements are adhered to.</li><li>
Ensure records are maintained for linen inventory and uniforms. Ensure that par levels of linen, towels and uniforms are current, and take an accurate linen inventory bi-monthly. Report monthly cost of all linen and income to Executive Housekeeper.</li><li>
Lead departmental measures to minimize wastage of materials and amenities used in the department.</li><li>
Control chemical and Laundry supplies consumption, and ensure safe usage of chemicals</li><li>
Fully support and release staff for Task Force Missions required to support the opening of new Anantara and other MINT properties, and other special events catered by Minor International.</li><li>
Coach and guide new members of the team, with proper orientation training.</li><li>
Put in place effective ongoing training and development for team members.</li><li>
Develop and maintain a motivational working environment within the department and positive relations with other departments.</li></ul>
