This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced compliance professional with a background in the legal or professional services sector to join a team dealing with conflicts of interest and client confidentiality matters. 


Reporting to our Director of Conflicts and joining the OGC team, the successful candidate will assist with the development of a specialised team of conflicts professionals responsible for analysing, advising on and resolving legal and commercial conflicts of interest, information barriers and share dealing requests. This is to ensure we comply with all applicable regulations, professional rules of conduct, contractual terms related to conflicts of interest and client confidentiality, and protect client relationships and our reputation. 


Our conflicts analysts assist with the resolution of complex conflicts issues, deal with sensitive confidential matters, and carry out conflict checks associated with share dealing requests and lateral hires into the business. 


The Senior Conflicts Manager will work closely with the Director of Conflicts on the ongoing development of our policies, controls and processes as they relate to conflicts of interest, client confidentiality, information barriers, share dealing and Market Abuse Regulations. Country Plan: Working with the Country Presidents and Managing Directors, Boeing Global&rsquo;s Director of Globalization Planning, and business unit and functional representatives, develop and maintain plans for the key countries of the region that identify key near term objectives, and actions required to achieve those objectives.</li><li>
Market Development: Work with business units and Boeing Global&rsquo;s Director of Globalization Initiatives to identify and create government or industry partnerships which expand Boeing&rsquo;s presence in the region, implement the Country Visions and/or support other business unit objectives.</li><li>
Government Funding: Collaborate with national/local government teams, and strategic partners to unearth and capture government funding opportunities aligned with Boeing&rsquo;s Country Vision and Plan.</li><li>
Business Support: Working with the Country Presidents, support risk management and audit management processes, and other duties as assigned.</li><li>
Regional Support: While the Middle East is the primary focus for this position, the position is also responsible for supporting country Vision, Plans and market development activities as assigned by the Globalization and Market Development team.</li></ul>
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills and Experience):
Bachelor's Degre<ul><li>e</li>
Minimum 3+ years of experience in the following areas:
Business and program development with a regional national or local government, or a similar role in industr<li><ul><li>y</li>
Experience in a position involving strategic planning, market development and/or government relations, preferably in a multinational compan<li>y</li></ul></li>
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skill<li>s</li>
Proficient in both written and verbal communication in Arabic and English<li>.</li>
Ability to work collaboratively in a diverse, cross-functional environmen<li>t</li>
Deep understanding of the business environments, cultures, and regulatory landscapes across the region<li>.</li>
Strong project planning, management and execution skills<li>.</li></ul>
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills and Experience):
Masters Degree or MB<ul><li>A</li>
Familiarity with the region&rsquo;s aerospace industry and government policies related to the sector would be highly beneficial<li>.</li>
Confident public speake<li>r</li></ul>
Travel up to 30% will be required, within the region, to the USA, as well as other possible locations.
