Overview: 
The Buyer Planner is responsible for managing the procurement and planning of materials to ensure that inventory levels meet production and operational needs. This role plays a key part in maintaining a smooth supply chain, optimizing costs, and ensuring timely availability of materials for manufacturing or business operations
Key Responsibilities:<ul><li>
Develop and execute purchasing plans based on sales forecasts, inventory levels, and production schedules</li><li>
Procure goods and materials locally and internationally, ensuring best pricing, quality, and delivery terms</li><li>
Generate and process purchase orders using the company&rsquo;s procurement system; track and monitor order status to ensure timely delivery</li><li>
Coordinate with warehouse, production, and logistics teams to align material supply with operational requirements</li><li>
Maintain accurate records of purchasing activities, inventory status, and supplier information</li><li>
Analyze supplier performance and market trends; negotiate contracts and establish payment terms with vendors</li><li>
Audit and evaluate vendor agreements; ensure compliance with company policies and local regulations</li><li>
Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to optimize procurement processes and inventory management</li><li>
Prepare and present regular reports on purchasing, inventory, and supplier performance to management</li><li>
Support customs clearance and logistics processes for imported goods as needed</li></ul>
Qualifications and Skills:<ul><li>
Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field</li><li>
2+ years of experience in a purchasing, procurement, or supply chain planning role, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial environment</li><li>
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; proficiency in Microsoft Excel and ERP/procurement systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, MS Dynamics)</li><li>
Knowledge of inventory management principles, demand forecasting, and supplier relationship management</li><li>
Familiarity with Saudi customs clearance, VAT laws, and import/export procedures is highly desirable</li><li>
Excellent communication, negotiation, and organizational skills; fluency in English required</li><li>
Saudi nationality required (per Saudization policies).</li></ul>
