Position Summary
Thales is looking for a Project Controller Intern who will work under the responsibility of the Project Control Manager and will support in a variety of tasks, including but not limited to: financial planning and analysis, budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, project tracking, completing periodic reports. Through the internship, you will develop an understanding of Program &amp; Corporate Finance and take part to business operations analysis processes under Thales / Accounting and Business compliance duties.

Key Areas of Responsibility<ul><li>

Coordinate with Program Management, Finance, Accounts Receivable to ensure that all the components of revenue are accounted for in accordance with the contractual terms: billing, credit, rebate; Evaluate and assess program contingencies and program efficiency metrics, reviewing trends and providing forward looking analysis; Accountable for ensuring all program financials are consistent with all internal policies &amp; procedures.</li><li>
Support internal and external auditors' reviews and ensures that full documentation and account reconciliations, including but not limited to, program estimates at completion, are provided in a timely manner.</li></ul>
Minimum Qualifications<ul><li>

Our Talent Managers work in a team environment and have responsibility for negotiating and developing business with new and current clients. Talent Managers market our services via telephone, video and by conducting in-person meetings with hiring managers and decision-makers in accounting and finance departments. Additional responsibilities include: recruiting, interviewing and matching highly skilled industry professionals with clients&rsquo; projects, contract assignments and contract to full-time opportunities; managing ongoing engagements to deliver outstanding customer service to both clients and candidates; providing ongoing communication and career guidance to candidates; and participating in local trade association and networking events to increase Robert Half&rsquo;s presence in the local business community. 
 
Qualifications:<ul><li>
Degree preferred.</li><li>
1+ years industry experience preferred.</li><li>
2+ years&rsquo; experience with Business Development in a Metrics Driven environment. At least one with success in developing new business in a multi‐call, multi‐decision maker environment.</li><li>
Prior success marketing to and closing top level decision makers at small/medium sized businesses and cultivating mutually beneficial long-term relationships.</li><li>
Working knowledge of current Windows Operating System, Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel), and any Contact Management Application (Salesforce).</li><li>
Knowledge and familiarity with industry department operations.</li><li>
Positive attitude and an engaging businesslike approach.</li></ul>
The typical salary range for this position is $70,000 to $76,000. The salary is negotiable depending upon experience and location.
