   Accessions and receives samples into the VA laboratory information system

   Centrifuges samples and pours off into pour off

   Instructs patients in the proper collection of 24-hour urine and other samples collected

   Prepares collection, measures and records 24-hour urine
  </li>

   Transports specimens to the laboratory, including those requiring special

   Calls up collection lists for inpatient blood draws and looks up order numbers and patient information for outpatient
