<ul><li>Support the director with training and orientation of staff following Company and state guidelines. Assist with scheduling and arrange for substitutes in order to meet state ratios.

Essential Job Duties:<br>
<ul><li>Perform and report laboratory tests: Perform and report results of waived and moderate complexity laboratory tests using automated, semi-automated, and manual test systems and kits.</li><li>Prepare and transport specimens: Prepare specimens for in-house testing and for referral to reference laboratories. This includes verification of specimen ID and labeling, centrifugation, pour off, storage, routing to other clinic laboratory locations, and packaging and shipping for transport to reference laboratories.</li><li>Maintain quality control and assurance: Perform and maintain records of quality Control (QC) and Quality Assurance (QA) according to established Laboratory policy and procedures.</li><li>Maintain laboratory equipment and supplies: Prepare and calibrate instruments and equipment to assure accuracy of tests. Clean and performs periodic maintenance on instruments and equipment according to manufacturer's guidelines and laboratory policies. <ul><li>Bachelor's or Associate degree in a chemical, physical, biological or clinical laboratory science or medical technology from an accredited institution; or High School graduate or equivalent and have successfully completed an official military medical laboratory procedures of at least 50 weeks duration and have held the military enlisted occupational specialty of Medical Laboratory Specialist (laboratory technician)</li><li>ASCP, AMT, or NCA certification or eligibility preferred.
