Regulatory Strategy &amp; Product Development:

The role requires the ability to prioritize care, respond effectively to emergencies, collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, and deliver high-quality, patient-centered care in a fast-paced environment.Key ResponsibilitiesClinical Care<ul><li>Perform rapid patient assessments and triage according to established emergency department protocols.</li><li>Identify actual and potential health problems and prioritize care based on patient acuity.</li><li>Initiate emergency nursing interventions and provide immediate care for critically ill or injured patients.</li><li>Monitor, assess, and document patients' clinical conditions and responses to treatment.</li><li>Administer medications, intravenous therapies, blood products, and treatments as prescribed.</li><li>Assist physicians and other healthcare professionals during examinations, procedures, and resuscitation efforts.</li><li>Operate and monitor emergency equipment, including cardiac monitors, defibrillators, ventilators, and infusion devices.</li><li>Respond promptly to medical emergencies, trauma cases, cardiac arrests, and disaster situations.</li></ul>Patient and Family Care<ul><li>Provide compassionate care and emotional support to patients and families during emergency situations.</li><li>Educate patients and families regarding treatment plans, discharge instructions, medications, and follow-up care.</li><li>Advocate for patient safety, dignity, and rights throughout the care process.</li><li>Facilitate effective communication between patients, families, and the healthcare team.</li></ul>Care Coordination<ul><li>Collaborate with physicians, paramedics, respiratory therapists, laboratory personnel, radiology staff, and other healthcare professionals.</li><li>Coordinate admissions, transfers, referrals, and discharges as appropriate.</li><li>Ensure continuity of care through effective handovers and documentation.</li></ul>Quality and Patient Safety<ul><li>Adhere to infection prevention and control standards.</li><li>Ensure compliance with emergency department policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.</li><li>Participate in quality improvement, risk management, and patient safety initiatives.</li><li>Report and document incidents, adverse events, and safety concerns according to organizational policy.</li><li>Support disaster preparedness and emergency response planning activities.</li></ul>Documentation<ul><li>Maintain accurate, timely, and complete patient records in the electronic medical record system.</li><li>Document assessments, interventions, treatments, medications, and patient outcomes in accordance with professional standards.</li></ul>Professional Practice<ul><li>Maintain clinical competency in emergency nursing practices and procedures.</li><li>Participate in continuing education, mandatory training, and professional development activities.</li><li>Serve as a resource and mentor to junior nursing staff when appropriate.</li><li>Participate in departmental meetings, audits, accreditation activities, and performance improvement initiatives.</li></ul>Qualifications<ul><li>Bachelor's Degree in Nursing or equivalent recognized nursing qualification.</li><li>Current Registered Nurse license in accordance with local regulatory requirements.</li></ul>Certifications<ul><li>Basic Life Support (BLS) &ndash; Required.</li><li>Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) &ndash; Required.</li><li>Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) &ndash; Preferred/Required based on department scope.</li><li>Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) or equivalent trauma certification &ndash; Preferred.</li></ul>Experience<ul><li>Minimum 4 years of clinical nursing experience.</li><li>Previous experience in Emergency Department, Critical Care, Intensive Care Unit (ICU), Trauma, or Acute Care settings preferred.</li></ul>Skills and Competencies<ul><li>Strong emergency assessment and triage skills.</li><li>Ability to perform effectively under pressure and in rapidly changing situations.</li><li>Excellent critical thinking and clinical decision-making abilities.</li><li>Strong communication and interpersonal skills.</li><li>Ability to prioritize workload and manage multiple patients simultaneously.</li><li>Proficiency in emergency equipment and clinical technologies.</li><li>Commitment to patient safety, quality care, and professional practice.</li></ul>Education:<ul><li>Bachelor's (Preferred)</li></ul>Experience:<ul><li>Emergency Nurse : 4 years (Required)</li></ul>Work Location: In person
