AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY 
Order Selection and Loading<ul><li>
Select and stage the correct product item number, quantities, and shelf life for shipment.</li><li>
Inspect product quality while selecting orders. Only pack products that meet quality standards. Isolate and report products with quality defects.</li><li>
Securely pack products on pallets or carts, shrink wrapping and labelling as needed.</li><li>
Move product to/from storage and loading dock for shipping and receiving.</li><li>
Accurately record product information on paperwork and enter into ERP systems.</li></ul>
Shipping and Receiving<ul><li>
Using material handling equipment or by hand, move products, materials and supplies between storage areas and loading dock to be loaded/unloaded.</li><li>
Load/unload, inspect and put away shipments of materials and supplies.</li><li>
Inspect incoming shipments for quality defects, like damage, incorrect item numbers, or quantities.</li></ul>
Inventory Control<ul><li>
Stock, organize and consolidate storage space, as needed.</li><li>
Rotate inventory by item number, lot code, and shelf life.</li><li>
Support periodic company inventory by counting products, materials, and supplies.</li></ul>
Operations Support<ul><li>
The Distribution Assistant will be required to act as the back up driver if assistance with deliveries is needed.</li><li>
Other duties as assigned, which may include cleaning, general labor, and administrative tasks.</li></ul>
QUALIFICATIONS

The DC Operations Manager is responsible for the success of assigned functions within a complex distribution center environment to ensure that it is an outstanding place to work. 15% Assists GM and/or AGM with the DC's financial, operational, people and process and service related objectives to drive continuous improvement and efficiency gains to reduce overall cost-to-serve; leads associates, and peers to anticipate and solve problems and plan for upcoming events, seasonal changes, etc. Depending on DC, may assist in management of 3PL provider to ensure optimal performance and metrics are achieved.</li><li>
15% Coaches, trains, and develops Associates informally and through formal training programs, providing both informal (e.g. on-floor coaching) and formal (e.g. written evaluation) job performance based feedback. DC Operations Manager

Space Telescope Science Institute

 The Space Telescope Science Institute (STScI), operated by the Association of Universities for Research in Astronomy (AURA), is NASA&rsquo;s science operations center for missions including the Hubble and James Webb Space Telescopes. STScI leads observation planning, data analysis, public engagement, and data archiving for flagship missions. We are seeking a Scientific Assistant interested in joining our research group in analyzing near‑infrared Hubble Space Telescope (HST) imaging data of evolved, sun‑like stars in a galaxy with extremely primitive elemental abundances (). These abundances resemble those expected in distant galaxies and the early universe, making this system an ideal environment for studying stellar evolution in primordial conditions.
 
 
 The student will investigate the spatial distribution of evolved stars and assess whether their locations reveal information about the rate of ongoing star formation, past dynamical interactions with other galaxies, and the broader evolution of the system. Work will include statistical and spatial analysis of photometric catalogs as well as collaboration on the writing and publication of a scientific paper.
 
 
 The position also provides exclusive access to new James Webb Space Telescope (JWST) imaging, scheduled for July 2026 (), offering hands‑on experience with cutting‑edge infrared observations.
