 Reporting to HSE Manager, the Environmental &amp; Sustainability Coordinator is providing expertise support to PROJECT HSE Manager and is responsible for the coordination of all the environmental aspect on/offshore in the project:

 Acquire and understand the Project goals from Contractual documentation.
 </li>
 <li>
 Contribute to define the list of activities, list of deliverables and time schedule in accordance with Contract requirements related to environment and sustainability.
 </li>
 <li>
 Identify the environmental design requirements and procedures applicable to the Project and assure their implementation into the Project in line with EIA requirements.
 </li>
 <li>
 Assure the technical coordination of the environmental discipline.
 </li>
 <li>
 Assure the follow-up activities to monitor the resolution of identified environmental issues in the course of the design development.
 </li>
 <li>
 Be the technical reference for Specialists and Designers for environment-related matters and participate to the interdisciplinary activities.
 </li>
 <li>
 Attend internal review activities and inter-discipline check meetings.
 </li>
 <li>
 Provide technical support to Project group.
 </li>
 <li>
 Ensure protection of the Sensitive areas.
 </li>
 <li>
 Ensure the development of spill contingency plan and monitor implementation;
 </li>
 <li>
 Ensure the development of Waste/Chemical/Water Management Plan, ensure relevant permits are obtained from authorities and monitor implementation;
 </li>
 <li>
 Ensure compliance with noise regulations requirements;
 </li>
 <li>
 Ensure and monitor protection of air quality within the project activities;
 </li>
 <li>
 Establish an environmental monitoring (onshore/offshore) and specially the alignment with the Qatar regulation and regulation for any discharge plan offshore
 </li>
 <li>
 Develop and implement the audit program applicable to all phases of the operations;
 </li>
 <li>
 Take part in environmental accident / incident investigation;
 </li>
 <li>
 Ensuring the development of Offshore Spill contingency plan and monitor implementation;
 </li>
 <li>
 Liaise with COMPANY Environmental focal point for environmental monitoring (air, water &amp; noise), waste inventory, spills, internal audits, Environmental training and reporting.
 </li>
 <li>
 Ensuring the development of Waste / Chemical / Water Management Plans, ensure the relevant permits are obtained from authorities and monitor implementation;
 </li>
 <li>
 Ensuring compliance with environmental requirements;
 </li>
 <li>
 Establish on site an environmental monitoring and audit program applicable to all phases of the operations.

Senior Drainage Engineer
Doha, Qatar
Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Senior Drainage Engineer (Design) to join our team! In this role you will get to complete a wide variety of engineering assignments, applying advanced engineering techniques and analyses within the drainage discipline. 
What You&rsquo;ll Be Doing<ul><li>
Civil and Transport infrastructure drainage design.</li><li>
Detailed analysis and review of hydrological and hydraulic models.</li><li>
Provide technical design expertise for drainage and stormwater quality systems, including piped networks and major transverse drainage structures. Embrace and promote a leading digital work environment and delivery culture.</li><li>
Hydraulic and System design of the complex environment to meet site-specific requirements.</li><li>
Applying knowledge and experience of the biological and physical process of stormwater management.</li><li>
Applying innovative ideas, technology, and value engineering solutions.</li><li>
Supervision/Mentoring and support to intermediate and junior engineers.</li><li>
Undertake hydrologic modeling, calculations, drawings, report writing, design review, and supervision.</li><li>
Leading the projects, taking a high level of responsibility, building a strong relationship with clients, and obtaining design approvals.</li><li>
Coordinating with the CAD / BIM / 3-D modeling teams on projects.</li></ul> 
What Required Skills You&rsquo;ll Bring<ul><li>
Bachelor's degree in Civil, Hydraulic and/or Environmental Engineering discipline.</li><li>
Master's Degree in Water Engineering/Hydrology would be an advantage</li><li>
Minimum 10 years experience in water engineering, including stormwater drainage design in civil and transport projects, stormwater management, and planning.</li><li>
Minimum 6 years of Qatar/GCC experience is preferred.</li><li>
Sound knowledge of principles of hydrology and hydraulics.</li><li>
Demonstrated understanding of hydrologic and hydraulic modeling/design software packages used in the design of surface drainage, piped networks, cross drainage, and flood analysis, i.e., CAD skills, SWMM, HEC RAS, and HEC-HMS knowledge.</li><li>
Experience with Infoworks ICM, 1D/2D is compulsory.</li><li>
Excellent command with GIS and CAD tools such as ArcMap, AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and Microstation.</li><li>
The capability of mathematics to create calculation sheets and perform further calculations where required to ensure the design is appropriate.</li><li>
Knowledge of Water Sensitive Design and Sustainable Drainage Design (SuDS).</li><li>
Chartered Engineer (CEng) qualified (or equivalent) or well-progressed towards qualification.</li><li>
Ability to work within a multi-disciplinary team and encourage collaboration.</li><li>
Ability to handle multiple projects and deliver results within the project timeline.</li></ul>
