This role requires strong design expertise, attention to detail, and close collaboration with the publishing team to ensure high-quality, print-ready outputs delivered within deadlines.Core Responsibilities<ul><li>Book Cover Design</li><li>Design creative and market-relevant covers for fiction and non-fiction titles. Interpret creative briefs, align concepts with genre and audience, and incorporate feedback into final designs.</li><li>Interior Layout Design</li></ul>Format manuscripts into professional print-ready layouts. Ensure consistency in typography, spacing, pagination, and readability. Maintain layout templates per Liberty Publishing standards.<ul><li>Promotional Design</li></ul>Create launch and promotional materials (bookmarks, tote bags, posters, digital invitations). Develop visually consistent assets for marketing and social media campaigns.Prepare final files for print and digital platforms. Ensure technical accuracy (bleed, resolution, color settings, print specs). Review printer proofs and implement corrections.Format e-books for digital platforms ensuring compatibility, responsiveness, and clean formatting.Collaborate with Publishing Manager, editors, and sub-editors. Implement revisions based on feedback.
