Follow company policies and procedures; report accidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions to manager; complete safety training and certifications; ensure personal appearance is clean and professional; maintain confidentiality of proprietary information; protect company assets. Job Summary

<li>Promote a warm, friendly approach among team members and encourage sharing of workloads, skills, and knowledge.</li>
<li>Maintain awareness of emergency procedures and act effectively in emergency situations.</li>
<li>Adhere to policies concerning fire, evacuation, accidents, bomb threats, and law &amp; order incidents.</li>
<li>Inform higher management or General Manager of major issues and assist with guest compensation where necessary.</li>
<li>Mentor new or inexperienced employees and conduct regular performance reviews.</li>
<li>Lead by example, motivating staff to meet service standards and departmental goals.</li>
<li>Manage departmental operations within the allocated budget.</li>
<li>Ensure strict adherence to cashiering procedures and financial controls.</li>
<li>Support the implementation of the Hotel&rsquo;s Code of Discipline.</li>

A Duty Manager at Waldorf Astoria Dubai International Financial Centre is responsible for managing the first impressions of our Guests and, therefore, must perform the following tasks to the highest standards:
 
<ul><li>Provide refined leadership and operational oversight of daily hotel operations, ensuring seamless delivery of Forbes Five-Star service standards across all guest touchpoints.
</li><li>Act as a primary point of contact for guests, with particular focus on VIPs, ensuring needs are anticipated and exceeded with discretion, professionalism, and grace.
</li><li>Oversee and coordinate operations across all departments to ensure smooth, efficient, and consistent hotel performance.
</li><li>Represent Senior Leadership during assigned shifts, assuming full responsibility for hotel operations, decision-making, and guest experience.
</li><li>Conduct regular property walks to monitor cleanliness, safety, security, and overall presentation of the hotel.
</li><li>Supervise and verify operational and financial procedures, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and integrity of reporting.
</li><li>Prepare shift and operational reports, investigate discrepancies, and communicate findings to relevant stakeholders.

</li><li>Lead and execute all safety, security, and emergency procedures with professionalism, safeguarding guests, colleagues, and hotel assets.
