Key Responsabilities:</p><p><b>
Transfers &amp; Boat Operations</b></p><ul><li>
Every evening check the schedule for transfers and excursions for the following day. Be familiar with the details regarding the trips including number of guests, their names and any special requirements.</li><li>
Prepare boat set up, according the requirements of the trip and the operating procedures. Always make sure there are sufficient cold towels, beverages and sea sick bands required for each trip. Additionally, during rainy season, make sure that there are enough raincoats and towels available on board.</li><li>
Go through the check list and make sure that everything on the check lis are followed</li><li>
Ensure that if you or the crew member miss a meal while on a trip, coordinate with Launch Section Manager or coordinator, and ensure that the food is prepared for them from the resort or get the meal from the place that you are going. Make sure that the cost of that meal must be the price set by the management unless authorise by Launch Section Manger.</li><li>
Ensure that the boat is clean, set-up and waiting on the guest jetty, 30 minutes prior to each trip, with the crew members. All team members must following the Resort grooming and uniform standards.</li><li>
Make sure all trips are as comfortable as possible for all guests, whilst ensuring their safety and catering to their needs.</li></ul><p><b>
Boat Maintenance &amp; Safety</b></p><ul><li>
Always follow the maritime law, rules and regulations as set forth by the Ministry of Transport &amp; Communication of the Republic of Maldives.</li><li>
Ensure that the Sea Worthy certificate is on board, and ensure all its requirements are followed.</li><li>
Carry on your person your Captain&rsquo;s License during all trips.</li><li>
Clean the boat and equipment. Ensure that the boat is in good working condition at all times and report any maintenance issues immediately. Follow up maintenance issues with Launch Section Manager or Coordinator until it is resolved.</li><li>
Carry out all the maintenance work of the boat or its engine with engineering department delegates and update Launch Section Manager or Coordinator until it is resolve.</li><li>
Maintain and at times, build anchor points and nautical navigation lights.</li><li>
Always be responsible and take precautionary measures to avoid any risky incidents. For example, ensure there are no petrol leakages that life jackets are available, that fire extinguishers are in working condition etc.</li><li>
In cases of inclement weather, ascertain whether trips can be made and advise Launch Section Manager or Coordinator accordingly.</li><li>
Carry onboard the Boat Mobile phone at all times when you are on duty. Ensure that it is fully charged before each trip. Ensure that on board radio set is in working condition.</li><li>
At all times keep in mind guest and crew safety first, and drive the boats accordingly.</li></ul><p><b>
Communication</b></p><ul><li>
Communicate between Airport Hosts and the Resort Operators to co-ordinate arrival and departure times, and any other guest issues and requests faced during the trip.</li><li>
Communicate regularly and as required any issues with boats or guests to the Launch Section Manager or Coordinator.</li><li>
Inform to Launch Section Manager or Supervisor if any items onboard including and not limited to beverages, seasick bands, seasick bags, and resort fact sheets/brochures need to be replaced.</li><li>
Handle guest queries in a timely and efficient manner and provide any information sought by the guest.</li><li>
Resolve guest issues to the guest&rsquo;s satisfaction within your level of authority. Write incident reports regarding any incidents during the trip.</li><li>
Get feedback from guests during the trips and inform the department to ensure proper follow up and actions are taken place.</li><li>

Qualifications &amp; Competencies:</p><ul><li>
Minimum 2 years of experience in Housekeeping operations, preferably in a supervisory or coordination role</li><li>
Previous experience as a Housekeeping Coordinator or Public Area Supervisor is an advantage</li><li>
Strong communication and interpersonal skills</li><li>
Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities</li><li>
High attention to detail with a proactive approach to problem-solving</li><li>
Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays as required</li><li>
Familiarity with hotel systems and reporting tools (Opera, HotSOS, or similar) is an advantage</li><li>
