ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS 
The primary responsibility of the Medical Assistant is to provide ancillary clinical support to the clinic providers to ensure patient care is delivered in an effective and efficient manner. This is accomplished by working collaboratively with the primary care provider (PCP), teamwork among the other medical assistants in the clinic, and effective and consistent communication. The medical assistant provides compassionate, competent care and is a patient advocate for quality. Compliance with legal regulations (OSHA, HIPAA, Universal Precautions, etc.) and company policies and procedures is a daily function. Preparing the patient for the examination includes but is not limited to taking vital signs, history, drawing blood per PCP orders, authorizing prescription refills, managing inventory of medical supplies and equipment, keeping the clinical areas of the office clean and safe for patients, and provides health education for patients under the provider&rsquo;s direction.<div> 
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

You will be the first point of contact for patients while also supporting the doctor with in-office therapies and clinical flow.Responsibilities include:<ul><li>Welcoming patients with warmth, professionalism, and positive energy</li><li>Managing patient check-in and check-out</li><li>Scheduling appointments and helping maintain an efficient daily flow</li><li>Assisting with therapeutic services under doctor supervision, including:</li><li>Spinal Decompression</li><li>Electrical Muscle Stimulation</li><li>Manual Therapy</li><li>Intersegmental Traction</li><li>Additional in-office therapies as trained</li><li>Educating patients on care recommendations, home exercises, and next steps</li><li>Assisting with new patient exams and re-examinations</li><li>Accurately documenting patient visits in our electronic health record system</li><li>Keeping treatment spaces clean, organized, and ready for patient care</li><li>Collaborating closely with the doctor and team to create an outstanding patient experience</li><li>Insurance/Cash handling</li></ul>Who We&rsquo;re Looking ForWe want someone who is looking for a career home, not a temporary stop.
