Job Description 
<ul><li>
Reviews the work of the F &amp; B department and Night Audit ensuring accuracy of the information as reported.</li><li>
Properly allocates revenues and posts to the appropriate ledger accounts.</li><li>
Reviews and verifies the accuracy of revenues reported to Accounts Receivable by balancing the accounts to appropriate ledgers. This is done on a daily and monthly basis.</li><li>
Reviews and properly codes for posting and reporting all SP charges.</li><li>
Provides assistance in the closing of books at month end.</li><li>
Prepare any daily weekly or monthly reports as may be requested by management from time to time.</li><li>
Perform any other duties assigned by the Senior Accountant, Chief Accountant and or Director of Finance.</li><li>
Must possess basic computational ability.</li><li>
Thorough knowledge of computer processing system and ability to manually perform these operations if necessary.</li><li>
Ability to prepare and analyse data figures and transcriptions prepared on and generated by computer.</li><li>
Knowledge of computer accounting programs math skills as well as budgetary analysis capabilities required.</li><li>
Control on rebates and refunds on credit card.</li><li>
Ensure that commission is processed timely for all T/A.</li></ul>

</div><div>The Assistant Income Auditor is responsible for supporting the accurate and timely recording, verification, and reporting of the hotel&rsquo;s daily revenue. This role ensures that all income streams are properly accounted for in accordance with IHG policies, financial standards, and local regulations. Working closely with the Income Auditor and operational departments, the Assistant Income Auditor plays a vital role in maintaining the integrity of financial data and ensuring compliance with internal control procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
</div><div><ul><li>Review and verify daily revenue reports from all operating departments (Rooms, F&amp;B, Recreation, and Spa) to ensure accuracy and completeness.</li>
<li>Reconcile system-generated reports (Opera, Micros, SpaSoft, etc.) against actual transactions and supporting documentation.</li>
<li>Identify and investigate discrepancies, posting errors, or missing revenues, and coordinate with respective departments for resolution.</li>
<li>Verify complimentary, house-use, and paid-out transactions to ensure proper authorization and documentation.</li>
<li>Ensure that all discounts, voids, and rebates are appropriately approved in accordance with hotel policies.</li>
<li>Prepare and distribute the Daily Revenue Report to relevant department heads and management within agreed timelines.</li>
<li>Assist in preparing month-end income summaries and support schedules for financial statements.</li>
<li>Maintain organized records of all revenue-related documents for audit purposes.</li>
<li>Support in generating analysis reports on outlet performance and revenue trends as required.</li>
<li>Ensure adherence to IHG financial standards, internal control procedures, and local financial regulations.</li>
<li>Support the Income Auditor in conducting spot checks and surprise audits across F&amp;B outlets and front office.</li>
<li>Assist in the verification of cash handling procedures and ensure compliance with the hotel&rsquo;s cashiering policies.</li>
<li>Maintain confidentiality and data integrity at all times.</li>
<li>Coordinate with Front Office, F&amp;B, Spa, and other departments to ensure all revenue postings are completed accurately before day closure.</li>
<li>Provide support during internal and external audits by preparing requested documentation and clarifications.</li>
<li>Support the Finance team in other accounting or administrative duties as assigned.</li>

</div><div><ul><li>Bachelor&rsquo;s degree or diploma in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.</li>
<li>Minimum 1&ndash;2 years of experience in hotel accounting or income audit; experience in IHG systems is an advantage.</li>
<li>Strong knowledge of Opera PMS, Micros POS, and Excel; familiarity with Sun System or similar accounting software is preferred.</li>
<li>Excellent analytical and numerical skills with a strong attention to detail.</li>
<li>Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.</li>
<li>High level of integrity, confidentiality, and accountability.</li>
<li>Good communication and interpersonal skills.</li>
<li>Proficiency in English; Arabic is an advantage.</li>
