<p><b>Job description</b></p><p>We are reputed Engineering Consultants based in Doha, We are looking for Sr. structure Engineer with more than 15+ years of experience, preferable will be given to some with Consultant Background.</p><p><i>Key Responsibilities:</i></p><ul><li>Lead the team of Structural Engineers by delegating work according to projects priorities, technical challenges, and contractual milestones.</li><li>Set out the stastical system for structural design of the projects.</li><li>Provide technical oversight to the Structural staff engaged in design and documentation of projects.</li><li>Make authoritative design decisions and recommendations coordinated with project requirements.</li><li>Provide leadership in the exchange of knowledge relating to best, current international practice and in identification and analysis of new technology and trends.</li><li>Responsible for Design of all Structural systems and elements, issue the structural calculations &hellip;etc.</li><li>Deal with all the international standards and Codes and all others Structural design programs &amp; relevant Local Authority (KAHRAMAA, ASHGHAL, QCDD &hellip;&hellip; etc.).</li><li>Solve all Structural design problems.</li><li>Issue project specifications for all Structural disciplines, developing construction documents using MS Office, AutoCAD and/or Revit.</li><li>Coordination work with other departments.</li><li>Assist and help in preparing tenders and Quotations.</li><li>Plan and maintain project budgets and schedule planning activities with team and managers.</li><li>Monitoring, coaching, and developing Structural Engineering team members.</li><li>Documenting project issues/conditions.</li><li>Support review of subcontractors' invoices, when required for technical assistance.</li><li>Assist the Contract/QS Manager on Technical and Department issues.</li><li>Attend the design progress &amp; technical meetings, discuss, and suggest technical proposals.</li><li>Attend and lead Structural progress &amp; technical meetings, discuss, and suggest technical proposals.</li><li>Coordinate with quantity surveyors or payment appreciations and change orders.</li><li>Maintaining organized and detailed project records.</li><li>Take part in project and risk management reviews.</li><li>Make site investigations and construction review if required.</li><li>Develop and maintain positive professional relations when dealing with current and prospective Clients.</li></ul><p>If you are matching to the above criteria, please send CV to <b>hr@gcg.com.qa</b></p><p>Job Type: Full-time</p><p>Work Location: In person</p>
