Cargo Logistics Agent (CLA) at Pegasus Aviation Services performs a variety of warehousing duties which require an understanding of the establishment&rsquo;s bonding and storage plan. Work involves most of the following: verifying materials (or merchandise) against receiving documents, noting and reporting discrepancies and obvious damages, routing materials to prescribed storage locations, storing, stacking, or palletizing materials in accordance with prescribed storage methods, rearranging and taking inventory of stored materials, examining stored materials and reporting deterioration and damage, removing material from storage and preparing it for shipment. This worker may operate forklifts, hand or power trucks in performing warehousing duties. The Forklift Operator operates a manually controlled diesel, electric, or liquid propane gas powered forklift to transport goods and materials of all kinds about a warehouse, or other establishment. The CLA will also be required to run freight and mail to and from the aircraft, the post office, and the warehouse facility. Loading and unloading of cargo on a daily basis is to be expected.</div><div></div><div> 
The CLA position is a support services position whose work routine is established and follows a set of procedures. It generally functions under supervisory direction or guidance of the Director, Passenger and Cargo Services.</div>

Physical Demands:</div><ul><li>
The CLA on occasion may lift or move with help up to 200 pounds, and/or more frequently lift or move 70 to 100 pounds and constantly lift or move up to 50 pounds the CLA is regularly required to use hands, talk, hear, bend, stoop, kneel, and is frequently required to stand, walk. The CLA may be required to climb, sit, and balance.</li><li>
Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to focus.</li><li>
The CLA is usually working outside and is exposed to all types of weather conditions with a seasonal range of temperatures which include rain, snow, wind and extreme temperatures.</li><li>
The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate but can vary dramatically depending on location and time of day. Occasionally high noise levels where hearing protection is required and provided.</li></ul>
