 This role reports to the Senior Manager - Purchasing:

 Supporting SM Purchasing in developing and implementing strategic plans to optimize the supply chain for the forging category, ensuring alignment with overall business objectives.
 </li>
 <li>
 Supporting in sourcing activities to identify and qualify suppliers for forging materials.
 </li>
 <li>
 Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, production, and quality assurance, to ensure seamless integration of forging components into manufacturing processes.
 </li>
 <li>
 Identify opportunities for cost reduction and process optimization within the forging category, implementing strategies to improve efficiency and reduce lead times.
 </li>
 <li>
 Supporting SM Purchasing in cultivating a diversified supplier base and mitigate AGTL's dependence on single-source vendors within the forging category.
 </li>
