Position SummaryThe QA/QC Engineer ensures that all project activities in construction, fabrication, and installation across Qatar&rsquo;s oil and gas facilities comply with QatarEnergy standards, QCS, international codes, and project specifications. Quality Control (QC)<ul><li>Manage QC inspections covering piping, mechanical, welding, structural, civil, and electrical &amp; instrumentation activities.</li><li>Verify material inspection, traceability, MTCs, and ensure materials comply with QatarEnergy-approved vendor lists.</li><li>Witness welding procedures (WPS/PQR), welder qualification tests, and monitor weld quality on site.</li><li>Coordinate and review NDT activities (RT, UT, MT, PT, PMI, Hardness Testing).</li><li>Witness FAT, SAT, hydrotest, pneumatic tests, and pre-commissioning/commissioning works.</li><li>Issue NCRs, corrective actions, and follow up until closure with contractors.</li></ul>3. Documentation &amp; Reporting<ul><li>Maintain all QA/QC records in compliance with Qatar documentation standards.</li><li>Prepare daily and weekly QC inspection reports and ensure timely submission to the client.</li><li>Compile Quality Dossiers, Test Packs, and Final Handover Documents for client approval.</li><li>Manage RFIs, surveillance reports, and inspection logs.</li></ul>4. Contractor &amp; Vendor Coordination<ul><li>Conduct quality surveillance visits to local and international vendors.</li><li>Review and approve vendor QCPs, ITPs, and manufacturing records.</li><li>Coordinate with contractors to resolve quality issues and ensure compliance with QatarEnergy project specs.</li></ul>5.
