<p>Job Opportunity &ndash; QA/QC Manager (Major Projects) &ndash; Qatar</p><p>We are seeking an experienced <b>QA/QC Manager</b> to lead the Quality function for a major EPCC project in Qatar within the Oil &amp; Gas / Petrochemical sector.</p><p>Key Responsibilities:</p><ul><li>Lead QA/QC activities across Engineering, Procurement, Construction &amp; Commissioning</li><li>Ensure compliance with project specifications, ISO standards &amp; EPCC requirements</li><li>Manage audits, NCRs, vendor inspections, and quality surveillance</li><li>Oversee inspection activities, ITPs, and mechanical completion</li><li>Drive quality compliance and continuous improvement across all project phases</li></ul><p>Requirements:</p><ul><li>Bachelor&rsquo;s Degree in Engineering</li><li>10&ndash;15+ years of QA/QC experience in Oil &amp; Gas / EPC projects</li><li>Minimum 5 years in a leadership role</li><li>Strong EPCC project experience (LNG / Petrochemical / Fertilizer preferred)</li><li>ISO 9001 Lead Auditor and other certifications are an advantage</li></ul><p>Location: MIC, Qatar<br/>Industry: Major Oil &amp; Gas / EPCC Projects</p><p>Only candidates with relevant major project experience will be considered</p><p>Application Question(s):</p><ul><li>How many years of QA/QC experience do you have in Oil &amp; Gas or EPCC projects?</li><li>Do you have experience working in major projects (LNG, Petrochemical, Fertilizer, Refinery)? The QA/QC Manager will play a pivotal role in overseeing and managing all quality assurance and control activities for the QXY Project. This position requires a strong understanding of construction processes and the ability to ensure compliance with project specifications, Qatar Construction Specifications (QCS), and contract requirements. The manager will work closely with project teams, contractors, and stakeholders to maintain the highest quality standards in road and infrastructure development.

</li><li>Develop and implement QA/QC plans, procedures, and protocols in line with international standards.
</li><li>Conduct regular site inspections and audits to monitor construction activities and identify potential quality issues.
</li><li>Review and approve contractors' QA/QC plans and ensure their implementation on-site.
</li><li>Maintain effective communication with project teams, contractors, and stakeholders to address quality concerns and implement corrective actions.
</li><li>Coordinate with relevant departments to ensure the timely delivery of quality materials and equipment.
</li><li>Conduct root cause analysis for non-conformances and implement preventive measures.
</li><li>Prepare and submit comprehensive QA/QC reports, including non-conformance reports and corrective action plans.
</li><li>Stay updated with the latest industry trends, regulations, and best practices in QA/QC.
</li><li>Provide training and support to project teams and contractors on QA/QC processes and requirements.</li></ul></div>
<br><div><ul><li>Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
</li><li>Minimum 15 years of experience in QA/QC management, with a proven track record in construction projects.
</li><li>In-depth knowledge of Qatar Construction Specifications (QCS) and international quality standards.
</li><li>Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to lead and motivate a team.
</li><li>Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with diverse stakeholders.
</li><li>Proficiency in using QA/QC software and tools for data analysis and reporting.
</li><li>Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
</li><li>Analytical thinking and problem-solving skills to identify and resolve quality issues.
</li><li>Familiarity with construction processes and best practices in road and infrastructure development.
</li><li>Willingness to travel to project sites as required.
