3. Financial Accounting and General Ledger

<li>Manage and execute monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closing activities.</li>
<li>Support the preparation of financial statements and other private or general-purpose reports.</li>
<li>Conduct financial data analysis and develop ad-hoc reports as required.</li>
<li>Ensure compliance with IPSAS accrual accounting principles.</li></ul> 


Minimum Requirements

Experience

<li>Associate level: Minimum 2 years of relevant professional experience.</li>
<li>Senior level: Minimum 5 years of relevant professional experience.</li>
<li>Relevant work experience in a Finance Department of a governmental entity or a multinational company within Qatar is preferred.</li></ul> 


Technical Expertise

<li>Strong accounting knowledge with hands-on experience in: 
<ul>
<li>Planning, budgeting, forecasting</li>
<li>Cost management (mandatory for Senior; preferred for Associate)</li>
<li>Financial accounting and reporting</li>
<li>IPSAS (International Public Sector Accounting Standards) accrual implementation</li>
</ul></li><li>Extensive knowledge of the full finance function and its processes.</li>
<li>Proficiency in Oracle ERP (mandatory).</li>
<li>Advanced MS Office skills, especially Excel (pivot tables, modeling, analysis).</li></ul> 


Sector Experience
