You will be teaming with interns in architecture, engineering, interior and lighting design, and specialty services in North America to design and deliver cutting-edge and sustainable design solutions that exceeds our clients&rsquo; expectations.
Your Key Responsibilities
<ul><li>Conduct basic interpretations of drawings, engineering markups, codes, and other similar materials.</li>
<li>Use Revit and AutoCAD software to produce contract documentation to communicate electrical design information.</li>
<li>Perform interdisciplinary coordination with architects, other engineering disciplines, and design-build contractors to deliver quality projects to our clients.</li>
<li>Perform preliminary site assessments and construction project observations.</li>
<li>Perform basic calculations to analyze and design individual building electrical system components using company standard software and internal tools.</li>
<li>Assist with engineering duties on projects of various complexity.</li>
<li>Assist with collecting data and gathering information to support design decisions</li>
</ul>Your Capabilities and Credentials
<ul><li>Has familiarity with mechanical, plumbing and fire protection systems within the built environment is preferred.</li>
<li>Working knowledge of CAD MEP and Revit MEP are preferred.</li>
<li>Working knowledge of Building Information Modeling.</li>
<li>Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office.</li>
<li>Excellent verbal and written communication skills.</li>
<li>Basic understanding of local codes and ASHRAE standards preferred.</li>
<li>Must have valid drivers license and clean MVR</li>
</ul>Education and Experience
Pursuing a Bachelor&rsquo;s or Master&rsquo;s degree in Mechanical Engineering.

Pay Range:
<ul><li>$23.47 - $34.50 Hourly</li></ul>
Pay Transparency: In compliance with pay transparency laws, pay ranges are provided for positions in locations where required. Please note, the final agreed upon compensation is based on individual education, qualifications, experience, and work location. At Stantec certain roles are bonus eligible. Actual compensation for part-time roles will be pro-rated based on the agreed number of working hours per week.
