Job overview and responsibilities
This position will be part of the Facilities (FX) and Ground Support Equipment (GSE-GX) maintenance and engineering management team having primary focus supporting United facilities buildings and equipment. This role will contribute to specifications and design to provide safe and dependable Facilities and GSE assets in accordance with business requirements, cost savings initiatives, total cost of ownership, mission requirements, aircraft effectivity, environmental, federal and local governance requirements.<ul><li>
Coordinates with internal and external partners for facility &amp; GSE asset program development and execution</li><li>
Identifies, evaluates, and implements continuous lifecycle improvements to Facility or GSE asset models that reflect the most current operational approaches and optimized equipment use</li><li>
Responsible for project execution including planning, design, material ordering, installation, testing and implementation</li><li>
Provides ongoing subject matter expertise and assists with the design, implementation, and/or modification of Facility or GSE assets to address safety, reliability, and performance issues.</li> 
<li>
Provides guidance to ensure engineering integrity of new and existing assets for safe, dependable, and cost-effective operations</li><li>
Coordinates with Facilities Maintenance/GSE reliability programs</li><li>
Includes guiding inventory management, CMMS accuracy/data integrity, collection of operational data, trends, troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and identification of corrective actions to ensure the effectiveness of the maintenance programs</li><li>
Focuses on predictive, preventive maintenance that will maximize planned maintenance, reduce unplanned, reactive maintenance, and improve in-service time for facilities and GSE assets</li><li> 
Assists with technical parameters of preventative maintenance programs and maintenance optimization in accordance with manufacture, regulatory, and industry best practices for building systems, passenger boarding bridge, related equipment, Ground Service Equipment, and associated
infrastructures</li>

Collaborates for the development of maintenance monitoring strategy, systems, and infrastructure to support proactive and predictive maintenance for company assets</li><li>

3+ years of experience leading asset improvement initiatives and/or process improvement projects/programs</li><li>
Experience leading teams in multiple locations</li><li>

The base pay range for this role is $89,965.00 to $117,212.00. 
The base salary range/hourly rate listed is dependent on job-related, factors such as experience, education, and skills. This position is also eligible for bonus and/or long-term incentive compensation awards.
